Dear fifty-five,

Sometimes when I lay awake at night I think of how my life used to me. You know when we were young.

Back when I could get dressed without a care. Leave the house without concealer and mascara. Go out to eat and not order a salad. Get on the scale for fun not with tears already forming in my eyes. Smile in the mirror cause I lost a tooth not cry because I gained three pounds.

Please take me back to those days of careless innocence fifty-five. I beg you....

Sincerely,

Dre
