"Hey Percy my boyfy!"
Oh great there's that squeaky annoying voice I know that belongs to a girl named Melanie. She is the school slut and she uses any boy she can get her hands on. For the past few years she's been trying to get Percy to be her boyfriend but he keeps on ignoring her and telling her to go to Tartarus.
"Hey Annie do you want to go to the library and get some studying done." He turns around then gives me a wink. What?!
"Uuuuuh sure I'll meet you there and Melanie back OFF!" I walk away feeling proud of myself. She struts off in her way to high heels and her skirt that doesn't even make it down to the bottom of her but. Wow what a day this is going to be.

"Hey boyfy." I walk into the library putting on a really good Melanie voice.
"Look Melanie I'm no where near interested and I have the best girlfriend in the world so could you please just leave me alone." I laugh to myself wow Seaweed Brain is a real stupid Seaweed Brain.
"It's me stupid."
He turns around and looks at me with relief.
"Oh thank the gods I thought I was going to have to deal with her and I was so not in the mo-"
I cut him off with a quick kiss on the lips. Don't worry no one was there to see, it was just us.
"Could you do that again but for longer this time?"
"No Seaweed Brain what if someone see's us."
"Ok ok but I get one tomorrow night at PROOOOOOMMMM!"
"Geez it's just a school dance why do you need to make such a big deal about it."
"Because I get to spend it with the most amazing girl I've ever seen and known."
Awwwww my heart just melts but I'm snapped back to life when the bell rings.
"Just two more days and make sure you meet me after school to help the others set up for prom."
"Ok Wise Girl see you there." With that he runs off. I walk myself to class and when I look in a let out a sigh of relief, the teacher wasn't there yet so I wasn't late. I take my usual spot next to Will for math and get my books out.
"Everyone is betting that you and Percy are going to be the king and queen at the dance."
I jump and then realise it's just Will.
"Oh my gods will don't sneak up on me like that and second I don't think so."
"Oh yeah ask everyone you know and then you will realise that the Will master is always right."
"Yeah yeah whatever you say 'Will master'." Luckily the teacher walked in and I was saved from the rest of that conversation.

After school I meet the group on the gym to set up for the dance and I'm so excited. At our school we have the dance on the second last day of school and then the goodbye day on the last. I walk up to everyone talking. Ok good everyone's here.
"Ok enough chit chat time for work."
"Yay let's get this party started!"
"Leo calm down the dance is tomorrow night."
"Whatever Piper I've got to get started on picking up the ladies."
"Stop it you two," I snap "We are trying to get a dance ready."
Everyone is quiet and now I take the opportunity to tell everybody their jobs.
"Ok Leo you will be on the banner jobs with Calypso, Piper and Hazel you will be setting up the stage, Jason you will be getting the bleachers set up for relaxing, Frank your on getting the snack food table ready but don't put any food on it, Will you set up the music, Nico you set up the lighting and Percy and I will be doing decorations. Now did I miss anyone?"
"Yes you missed meeeee."
Oh great here is Melanie.
"Melanie your not needed go away."
"Oh come on Annabeth everybody wants the most popular girl to be here and help!"
"No and that's final now leave!"
She walks to the doorway and everyone starts to get going. She just waits there to be annoying but I can't be bothered to talk to her because me and Percy are to busy secretly flirting.

After about three hours we are done and it's time to go home. Me and Percy say goodbye to everyone and thank them for helping and Percy drops me off at home. On the way there Percy starts the conversation up,
"I'm so sorry about Melanie."
"Seaweed Brain I'm not bothered."
"Thanks for being so understanding Wise Girl."
"Any day Kelp Head."
"Hey I accept Seaweed Brain because that's a tradition but Kelp Head that's an N O!"
"Ok now hurry up and drop me home."

We arrive back at my place after a long nights work and Percy leaves to go home after a snack and a talk from my dad about tomorrow night. Oh my gods one of the most embarrassing things ever!

Don't worry Melanie will become a more important character!😁
