"Enough! This's enough! You're so full of yourself, Mr Bhalla. You should get over that arrogance first!" She showed her palm, stormed out of there, leaving a resolute Raman....
"What she thinks of herself! By talking about that scoundrel, I'd leave her? I've decided, she's the one for me, Mihir." Raman threw a file on the table, in front of an apprehensive Mihir. "I know I'm doing wrong! But the fact is, her parents won't listen to me nicely. I want her to love me before I take it further. Alas! That bloody woman is nowhere listening to me." He dropped in the chair holding his head.
"You can't force her, bhai! She's isn't a deal to crack! I think you're rushing it. I mean, look at you, you're so into winning than marrying. This's totally wrong." Mihir muttered meekly.
"I'm not forcing her." He shook his head. "She likes me! I can feel it. But yeah, she's not ready to commit. Why can't she just let go of her past! I...I don't understand why she brings his name between us when I talk about our life, our future! She's nuts, isn't she?" He quizzed irately.
"Bhai, for the time being, keep your frustration aside, and listen to me," Mihir leaned forward to disclose the matter of his concern and Raman waved his hand asking him to go on. "Bhai, I'm in love with someone. We've decided to get married and are terribly in need of a moral support. In her home, only her sister knows about us and the rest are likely to deny this prospect. I want you to support me as I've planned a family visit tomorrow in a restaurant. You're family, bhai. You supported me in all my decisions. You got to impress her sister as well, because she would likely reject me if she won't like us. So, our marriage is in your and her sister's hands. It's going to be a big day for me. I want you there. Please, bhai?" He held Raman's hands and pleaded.
"Alright," Raman agreed right away and added. "...you got to help me deal with my problems as well!" He stressed making Mihir chuckle.
He got up happily and halted tensely holding the doorknob. Looking back at his lost brother, he sent some prayers to help him out for the next week. "Bhai would be by my side, no matter what, but when Iyers and we'd meet..., it's going to be a battlefield!"
On the other side, at clinic, Ishita had a very bad day for being extremely frantic after her meeting with Raman, hence pouring it all on her assistant, at last to leave for home earlier than usual. She could hardly concentrate on anything thus she opted to stay back home and have a good nap that she has lost from when Raman Bhalla had intervened her exchange with Subbu last night. When she was relaxing her muscles, trying to get some sleep in the evening Mihika came leering.
"Akka, Mihir called me. He's told his brother about us. He wants to meet our entire family. Next week!" She said excitedly tackling Ishita in a hug.
"That's great, Miku! I'm impressed by the way he's taking this." Ishita nodded making Mihika blush. "...and there are certain people, don't know how to be subtle and chivalrous!" She muttered inaudible.
"He's very good, akka. You know he always talks about his brother. He's a very good man. I'm so excited to meet him as well." Mihika grinned.
The night passed calm and serene for Ishita as she could spend all her time with Mihika who was curious regarding her imminent meeting with her boyfriend's family; in making her family agree for the same and some naughty yet adorable wishes she blabbered about.
