THE OTHER UCHIHA (KAKASHI LOVE STORY)

CHAPTER 7

After running around the village for about a good twenty minutes, I had finally lost everyone. I was now at one of the many training grounds, and I decided that I would just rest here for a bit, so I jumped up in a tree and sat back, looking over the small lake that this training ground had, this had been my favorite place to train ever since I was a kid, it was peaceful and had a nice scenery.

I suddenly thought about Yuki, and how I missed him more than I could put into words. He was the one that could brighten my day, make me truly smile, he was my everything.

“Predictable as ever, Sonya.” I turned my head around to see none other than Kakashi.

I frowned then thought, I really shouldn’t space out, I didn’t even sense Kakashi’s chakra flow.

“Predictable am I?” I asked while turning my frown to a smirk.

“Well, this is the place I could always find you.” He said.

“Yeah, it sure holds a lot of memories.” I said as I turned by head back from Kakashi to look up at the sky.

“So, Sonya, mind if I have my book back?” He asked with a nervous laugh, while I just thought that his comment totally ruined the moment.

I turned my head back towards him and gave him a smug look, “On one condition, being that you answer one question.” I said.

“Sure.” He said in a bored tone while shrugging.

“Why did you accept Guy’s challenge without any hesitation, knowing the terms of the fight and the results if you won?” I asked while raising an eyebrow at him, while thinking was it possible that he liked me?

“I um, well you see Sonya, that well-,” He said while he stuttered over his words and gradually getting quieter, while turning his head in the opposite direction.

I sighed then asked in a somewhat sarcastic tone, “Do you need the question repeated?”

He then suddenly gave me his closed eyed smile and said, “To answer your question, no.”

“Okay then, answer my previous question.” I said a bit confused by the sudden change in mood.

“You said I only had to answer one question, you asked me two, you never said which one I had to answer, so if you would be so kind I’ll take my book back now.” He said.

I sighed irritably then said, “You know what I meant, and no you cannot have your book back now.” 

“Really?” He asked as he then disappeared and reappeared in front of me on the tree, moving his face incredible close to mine with our lips mere inches from each other, but he stopped and looked intently in my eyes.

“K-Kakashi, wh-what are y-you doing?” I asked befuddled with my face now as red as a tomato.

He chuckled while moving his face back, and then jumped out of the tree leaving me more confused than ever.

“Well, I’ll be seeing you Sonya-chan.” He said walking away as he pulled out his book and began to read.

“Wha-,” I said confused but stopped to look down at my side pouch, no book.

“KAKASHI HATAKE!!! GET BACK HERE!!!” I shouted as I activated my Sharingan and jumped out of the tree to chase after him.  

 He just laughed as he put his book away and began to run.
