Friends?

Jessica's P.O.V

I had just woken up from a deep sleep after putting the little I had into their places last night. It may seem like nothing but its freaking tiring! Id fallen asleep and it was now around noon right now. I got up, heading to the mirror, groaning as I saw the state my hair was in. Every part of it was sticking up in different directions.

this is going to take so long  my wolf reminded me. I groaned at the reminder scowled at her and going into the shower and trying to brush my hair out while it was wet. It was no use! My hair was a nuisance that should be arrested for being so uncooperative!

After I nearly ripped all of my hair out in the shower I had finally untangled my hair. I proceeded to wash my body and then step out of the shower. I grabbed a pair of shorts and a T-Shirt with the words 'Food Is Bae' on it. it wasn't lying.

I then did my hair into a loose bun so that it had space to dry but wasn't bothering my back at the same time. I herd a thump come from outside my door. I looked at it weirdly you idiot! that wasn't the door who made the sound it was something outside the door  my wolf screamed at me.

I told her to tune it down and blocker her out of my mind, much to her disagreement, and proceeded to walk to my door. Opening it was a sight to behold. A girl was running down the hall that passed my room. Behind her I saw Xavier.

At first I was confused but then I realized the position he was in. He was huddled over in pain. Ha!  I saw what happened here, she kicked him, there... again, Ha! The girl was still coming this way so I did the one thing could. I joined in, tackling the girl to the floor.

She looked confused at first as she let out a groan. "Hi" I said to her asif we where talking at a café. she gave me a smile, seemingly thinking the same as me "Hi" she said back.

I was about to continue pour conversation when we hear some grunts and someone stopped above us. We both looked up to find Xavier standing there. Lking like he was still in pain by the way. He looked at our position questioningly before shaking his head "Thank you for... tackling her" he said questioningly "Your welcome" I said, my cheerfulness fading a little.

" so what's happening here" I asked. they explained to me that she was being kept prisoner for some reason Xavier don't say. Then they said how Xavier had told her she could stay in a room and how she tricked him and kicked him... There to get away when I tackled her. that was about it.

I looked at Xavier and asked "What're you gonna do with her now" I asked he looked at me and then to her with a small glint of hope in his eye "I was hoping she could stay with you since your from the warrior pack and are really good at fighting so you can stop her from running. Also I don't think she wants to stay with any of the guards" he said raising an eyebrow at the girl. She shook her head vigorously

"cool" I said. the girl gave me a sad smile, seeming to have been remembering something. I was confused for a second when I just shook it off not wanting to intrude.

We moved her to my room saying wed share a bed. she didn't have anything so Xavier brought us some stuff from some other pack members. The girl was seemingly quiet the whole time. "So... What's your name?" I asked. she hesitated for a second before saying, "Katia Evans" and that's when it hit me. She was the newest added Luna from he new pack that had recently been formed.

"Wow! Why are you here your a Luna" I asked. She looked at me questioningly and I nodded my head with my mouth in 'o' form when I realized what id asked. She looked sad thinking about it so I changed the subject "That was really funny. What you did back there" I stated talking about the show that her and Xavier put on. She smiled slightly "It was easy" she stated.

She went on to talk about how she learned it from a place she went to for a year. There they called it, 'playing wounded' where you make your opponent think you cant walk or trick someone into thinking so and then fall and then make your move when they got up help you or when they are standing there looking at you on the floor.

"What pack are you originally from?" I asked. She hesitated "The beauty pack" she said. I looked at her surprised. she looked so much more different than the other beauty pack members id ever met. they where usually darker skinned an darker hair with darker eyes.

She looked at my surprised face and said I knw I'm not that pet-" I cut her off "No no no no no its just, they are so much darker in many ways. I mean that totally in-racistly." I said, seeing the insecure look on her face. I don't know why she was insecure. she was beautiful, blonde hair and beautiful eyes with curves in the right places.

"Got any siblings?" I asked her "Yeah. Two actually, twins, theyre okay but where really mean when we where younger. Used to bully me in highschool. One of my sisters is in the hospital right now though. Her boyfriend and her had a fight and he beat her and left without a trace. theyre rying to find her though" She said looking sad and worried.

"Okay, do you?" she asked. I sighed "I'm adopted. I was adopted my an alpha nd a Luna who already had kids of theyre own but wanted me for o reason. Theyre kids don't exactky like me very much. They have threetheres Jacob, hes the nicest one of the three and then there are the twins Jarred and Jona. Jarred is abiy and Jona. theyre both evil beings.

Jarred is the guy. Hes the less mean one. Hes a jerk who likes to mess with girls. from what I remember hes a player. I haven't seen him awhile because he went to live with our parents when he hear about the rogue attacks on your pack.

"Jona is the girl. Shes twice as evil as Jarred. Shes like the girl version of the devil. She's the one who took over the pack since neither brother is older than her. Jacob wanted to but the age differce is two years. Jarred just didn't want to. Jona goes by Malefica since its her middle name and she says it sound better then the, and I quote 'Stupid guy name mom and dad' gave her.

"Shes basically the reason I ended up in the rogues pack. She saw that I was going to overthrow her and becaome luna instead of her so she put charges on me that I ddint even do and kicked me out fof the pack." I finished, her eyes held pitty and understanding.

"Have you found your mate yet?" I asked. she smiled sadly and then a little anger flared in her eys until it turned sad again, "yeah, he was my best friend when I was smaller  ut then he stopped hanging with me because people started teasing him about us." he said as thogh it was the dumbest thing in theorld, it was.

"When he found out we where mates he screamed why and rejected me. Now I became Luna and I found out that he became Alpha and now I was falling for him before Xavier took me here" She stopped, her eyes whide.

"What?" I asked

"Ive fallen for Alexander"
