Not good pt.2

Xavier's P.O.V

We both rushed through the doors and immediately four nurses and two doctors came over with gurney and put Katia on it. They hooked wires onto her and hooking her onto different kinds of machines.

I could only explain the process as long and complicated. They took her into a room and I could see Alexander trying to follow them in but I was quick to hold him back.

I managed to pull him back and calm him down but I couldn't do anything to stop the tears that came. Only a couple but still a sign of feeling. We'd been friends for a long time before and still now but he knew I didn't know how to console him so he just sat there and cried.

I excused myself seeing as to how so many people were staring at me since k forgot for a minute that I was me. The alpha of the rogues. Of course.

I started outside when I ran into someone. Literally. I looked down to see the person pushing past me anyway when I saw the familiar hair. "Jessica?" I asked. She looked up, spooked by my deep voice. What can I say I'm not good with emotion.

"Xavier! What are you doing here?" She asked. "Katia's on the hospital. Lots of blood" I said. She looked a little surprised but said "same, I heard she was injured badly or something so I ca-" she stopped and suddenly looked at me.

She stared at me for a second before pulling me into a nearby alley and pushing me against the wall. I looked at her surprised but my wolf was growling at me from the inside. I could tell it was growling at me and not her because it was... Enjoying her.

She looked at me with dark eyes. "Did you do so,etching to her?" She questioned harshly. I looked at her and shook my head "no. In the end none of us caught and once we untied her she beat us up and then fell to the ground unconscious after yelling at us." I said.

I saw her sigh as she took her arm away from my neck and backing away. I chuckled but she shot me a glare. "Do you guys know what's wrong with her yet?" She asked worriedly. I shook my head "we just got here a little while ago and they haven't updated us yet." I answered.

"Speaking of that, how did you know about this so quickly. We only go here about an hour ago." I asked. She looked at me with a proud grin, "when the pack got back I asked around and they said you were still at the grounds. When i got there you guys had already left, what I was assuming, forty minutes ago so I looked around and smelled blood so I knew that someone was hurt and that they would bring them to this hospital since it's the fastest working one and I rushed over here and bumped into someone who happens to be you." She said breathlessly.

After she regained her breathing we went inside and sat in the waiting room seeing as to how Alexander was talking to a nurse at the front desk, most likely asking about Katia. I didn't think he actually cared about her.

I kept thinking for a little while and I couldn't help but blame myself forth is because it was most likely my fault. I don't know what I did that could've caused this but I knew it was my fault.

I started to get a bit worked up when k felt someone pat my thigh. I looked over at Jessica and then the hand on my thigh. She looked at me with sad but amused eyes, still it taking her hand off my thigh "you were glaring at a wall" she said with a small chuckle.

That made me laugh a little but it died down. She kept rubbing soothing and a little arousing circles on my thighs. You can't blame me it's a little close to my area but hey it was more soothing than anything else.

We ended up holding hands the whole time we were there.
