Caught up in love -nejiten

I hate you...

Tenten was currently 10 years old and was sitting on a swing set in the pouring rain. She didn't care rather she would get sick from it. She just didn't want to go home. At home she would be reminded of her late father. Recently he died from an illness. Her mother would stay out late going to clubs and bars. Sure she had a job but she would only buy things for herself neglecting Tenten in the process.

Every night when her mother was at a club she would quickly make her way to park.

Tenten had no hope left in her. So she sat on swing for over an hour in the rain, crying. Until suddenly she didn't feel the raindrops anymore. She looked up and saw her friend Hinata. "W-why are you crying? Come to my house! We'll g-get you dry off" Hinata said as she stretched out her hand for Tenten to take. Tenten not wanting to go back home nodded and took her hand.

They arrived at Hinata's house and it was huge! Tenten was about to take off her shoes until she saw another pair of shoes next to Hinata's. "Hinata, is someone else here too?" Tenten asked as she pointed to the shoes sitting neatly next to Hinata's. "Yes! that's Nee-san's shoes, I t-think you'll like him" Hinata smiled. "Follow me"

Hinata and Tenten walked through the hallways as they chatted happily. After several minutes later they arrived at a large door. "Um I'll be r-right back" Hinata said as she went inside.

Later Hinata and a tall boy around her age came out. Without saying a word he just looked at with a blank expression. Tenten looked at him weirdly. "T-tenten, this is my cousin, Neji" Hinata said as he gave her a slight nod. She slightly nodded back as he smiled at her. She blushed. "Tenten, y-you should stay over" Hinata suggested as Tenten looked at her "No, that's alright I wouldn't want to cause any trouble" Tenten said as she waved her hands up signaling no. "No, you must stay, I'll prepare a guest room for you. In the meantime, Hinata-sama will help you get ready for the night" Neji said "Thank you" Tenten smiled as he smiled back. "Come! I'll get a b-bath ready!" Hinata said.

The bath felt really nice since it was warm. She would only get cold showers because her mother would use up all the hot water for herself. "Tenten, I'll put the extra clothes on the s-sink for you" She heard Hinata's voice say "Ah, thank you!" Tenten responded as Hinata left. "I should probably get out now, I'm starting to prune..." Tenten said to her self.

After she finished drying herself off with a hair dryer, she went out to see a butler waiting for her. "Ms Tenten, please follow me" The butler said "Alright?" Tenten said as she started to follow him through the long hallways.

On the way she passed by Neji's room. The door was slightly open as she peeked inside without the butler knowing. She saw Hinata and Neji talking. "Hm, I wonder what they're talking about" Tenten said as she listened in. "Nee-san" Hinata said as Tenten heard a "Hm" "What do you think about the girl staying here?" Hinata asked. "I don't like her...She's weird..." Neji said as he crossed his arms. That shattered Tenten's heart. "Oh, I see, well I'm going to bed now" Hinata said as she got up from the chair. "Oh no! She's coming!" Tenten said as she quickly ran to catch up with the Butler.

The next morning Tenten went down stairs hoping to find no one there. Luckily no one was up yet. "I guess waking up at 5:00 am works" Tenten said as she quickly left a note with one of her homemade Kunai's saying thank you in fancy letters. Little that she know that is will be some time before she would see him again.
