It was the first time going to a school in Chicago I was sent their for 8th grade I felt nervous because I was scared for people telling me names cuz at my old school I was know as the " NERD" I looked like one and I am kind of. The principal took me to my class a lot of kids was staring at me I saw some kids like me so it was so for good I sat on my chair and I herd my name

" Hey u sammatha " this cute boy said

" plz call me Sam " I said with a smile

" cool name doe come sit with us the teacher won't mind at all!" He said

" thanx ummm i didn't catch your name." I asked

"the name is Matthew" he said and wink at me.

Did he just wink at me omg the cute boy in this class just winked at me

"Umm Matthew who are your friends?" I said

There was 6 desks together and well I didn't know 4 of them

"Ok this is Chloe" she had baby blue hair

"This is Jonathan" he pointed at the short one

"Faith and Torian" faith has long black hair . Torian had a hack of swag

"Well Nice to meet you Chloe, Jonathan,Faith,Torian"

"Well class turn to page 220" the teacher said

"Umm teacher I don't have a book"

We ditch reading cuz we had A's and we are good readers

" Ok Sam this is the cafeteria "

He said pointing at a sign that said 'LUNCH :)'

Then we went to the office and I meet the principal

Then he meet some kindergarteners and security. there was Mr.Cano he was really nice

We went to the 4th floor it was awesome their was a game room and every thing Matthew was the only one with the keys and the principal but he let him have that floor seen he was a good kid. their was a calendar that said the 17 of December the Christmas party don't forget to prepare the gym it was the 15

"Hey Matthew when are you go to prepare the gym" I said looking down at the calendar

"Umm how about tomorrow after school but you have to help me"

"Okay at what time" I said with a smile

"Umm well we get out at 3 so like at 5:30 ok"he said

"Why at 5:30 " I said

" because that the time I get out of PODER"he Said

"What PODER" I said confused

"It an after school program that stands for Positive Outcomes Delivery through Eduction and Respect" he said

"Can I join yea I'll call Mr.Miller right know to put you in" the looking for a number in his phone
