Morning came, but Makoto didn't sleep. He was still thinking about what Ayaka said yesterday, thinking that someone like her, being kind to a guy like him. He was confused, at the same time, happy.

He got up, did his daily routine of taking a bath, eating breakfast, changing clothes, etc. After going outside, he saw Ayaka walking towards him.

"Hey! Aya-chan!" shouted Makoto. "Oh hi! you look like you haven't slept." said Ayako, looking quite concerned. "Yea, just did my homework.." yawned Makoto. "Well, there are no classes today, want to grab something to eat?" asked Ayaka. Makoto's stomach growled, well, that's to be expected. He didn't sleep and only ate instant noodles. "hahaha! Mako-kun, i guess that's a yes? haha." said Aya, still laughing.

As they were walking down the street, they noticed a little girl, crying. "What's wrong?" said Ayaka, looking sad. "*sniff* my balloon.. i-it's stuck on that tree!" said the little girl, while wiping her tears. "I'll get it for you!" smiled Ayaka.  "Mako-kun! crouch and i'll sit on your neck! so i can get that balloon!" smirked Ayaka, looking clever. "Okay fine." sighed Makoto.

As Ayaka sat on Makoto's neck, Makoto stood up near the tree, but Ayaka can't seem to reach the balloon. "Mako-kun! i'll stand okay? don't let me fall." Ayaka then stood up on Makoto's shoulder, but as he looked up, he saw Ayaka's.. hidden flowers. "Ayaka, are those roses?" asked Makoto, still looking up. "W-what! d-don't look!!" screamed Ayaka, as she grabbed the balloon. "There's a straight line!! the flowers are being eaten by some sort of mouth thingy!! holy flowers!" shouted Makoto. "I-idiot! s-stop looking!" shouted Ayaka, blushing hard. As they returned the balloon, Makoto asked, "Are the flowers okay?". Ayaka covered her skirt, looking bright red. "I t-told you to stop looking.." cried Ayaka. "I-i'm sorry!" said Makoto. Confused as what to do..

Makoto hugged Ayaka.

"I'm really sorry, Aya-chan.." said Makoto. "W-wha-... it's okay.." smiled Ayaka. As they walked down the street, Makoto, thinking about how he hugged Ayaka, seemed happy.

"Her body felt warm.. i forgot all about my problems..

she is my flower." thought Makoto. Smiling.
