Its Not Over

Chapter 1

Finally my mom and Luke are married!! I am so happy for them. It's definitely been a long time coming. Now I just have something important to tell her so I take a deep breath and here goes nothing. "Mom" "yeah?" "I'm pregnant"...there I finally told her. Its official I have rendered my own mother Lorelai Gilmore speechless, I keep waiting for her to say something finally she says "It's not the Wookie's is it?" I say "Hell no its not!!" And she says "good so who's the father?" I take a deep breath and prepare myself for what I'm about to say "Its Logan's" She doesn't say anything for a few minutes. "Mom?" "I'm just shocked Rory what are you going to do? Are you going to tell him?" I sit there thinking. I know I should tell Logan, he has every right to know because he is the father so it's his baby too. Now that I've decided to tell Logan the question is how and when. "I want to mom but I have no idea how he will react or what he will say and if he will even want to be a part of his or her life or even if he wants to be together. Mom I want this baby to have both a mom and dad, I want the baby to grow with both parents together and happy. I mean I can do it on my own, but I don't want to. I want us to be together and raise our baby together." As I'm sitting there waiting on my mom to say something I'm thinking of the ways to tell Logan when my mom says "Just talk to him sweetie" I sigh and say " Yeah I'm going to I just...I just don't know how to tell him. Do I call him or write a letter or go see him in London?!?!" I look over at my mom and she isn't saying anything. Then she says "Rory don't you think he deserves to be told in person? Now I'm going to go home. I'm here if u need anything babe." I sigh and say "Thanks mom"

I decide to take a walk around to figure outwhat I should do. I know I should really tell him in person he deserves that.As I'm walking around the town that I grew up in and the town that I love somuch I can't help but think how great it would be to raise my own family here.The baby will be so loved and will grow up in the same quirky town with thesame crazy people I grew up with. It would be nice to share the same memoriesthat I have of the town and the crazy festivals that the town has with my ownchild. On my way home I stop in at Luke's to get a cup of coffee before I gohome to make that phone call that will tell me if I'm going to do this alone ornot. Which I hope not. As I walk in the bell above the door jingles and Lukelooks up and says "hey Rory" and Isay "hey" and he says "what'll it be?" I say " just a cup of coffee to go please" Helooks at me for a few minutes then says"Are you ok?" and I say "yeah I'll befine" and he hands me a cup of coffee and I give my thanks and leave to gohome. When I get home I plop down on my bed and take out my phone and make thecall that will change everything. As its ringing I think oh my god what if hedoesn't answer and then all of a sudden"Hello?" my heart starts beating really fast then I say "Logan?"
