Its Not Over

Chapter 2

            Logan answers "Yeah Ace is everything OK? I haven't heard from you in a month?" I take a deep breath and say "Logan I need to tell you something but I need to do it in person if I come to London can we meet up?" I'm scared he hung up but I can hear him breathing over the phone then he says "Can't we talk about it over the phone?" Now I'm starting to panic a little and I say "I really need to talk to you in person" he says" So when are you coming ace?" I breathe a sigh of relief and tell him I have a flight out in a couple hours so we make plans to meet up when I land and then we say good bye. I hang up the phone and let out a breath I didn't know I was holding, Time to start packing I say to myself. 

           As I'm on my flight I practice what I'm going to say to Logan over and over again in my head so I have it perfect when I tell Logan that he's going to be a daddy. I have so many thoughts running through my mind. This could go a variety of ways, I just hope it goes the way I'm hoping it will. Well I've got a long flight to so I may as well take a nap.

                                                                            -Logan's thoughts- 

         As I'm working I think back to what happened earlier. I wonder what Rory needs to talk about that she has to come all the way to London for. Whatever it is it must be important. We haven't talked since the LDB night. Suddenly my phone rings its Odette, I hit ignore I can't talk to her right now. I don't even want to marry her, that's just what my family wants. I won't ever love her, just as she won't ever love me it's just business for us. There's only one woman I love and that's my Ace. I am very excited to see her but I'm also really nervous I have no idea what she needs to talk about. I should probably have a car sent to pick Rory up at the airport her plane should be in by now. I called frank to pick her up now to go to the hotel where we agreed to meet.

          I am suddenly awakened by the pilot over the speakers saying "Please fasten your seat belts as we are about to land" As soon as the plane lands I go to get my luggage. Suddenly my phone beeps alerting me of some text messages. I decide to go get a cup of coffee before I read them the first one is from my mom wondering if I landed safely, I quickly text her back. The next one is Logan saying he sent a car to pick me up. I decide to text him back and let him know that I landed safely and I'll see him soon, then I put my phone in my purse and look for the person who has a sign with my name on it. As I walk around the corner I spot Frank I can't believe he still has Frank. I walk up and frank says "Hello Ms. Gilmore how are you today?" I say "I'm good Frank how are you?" he says "Just fine Ms. Gilmore I'll take your bags for you." I thank frank and get in the car.

          Soon the car stops and franks opens my door for me and we are at the Ritz of course it's a fancy hotel. Inside I walk up to the desk and tell them I need a room the guy says "What's your name miss?" I say "Rory Gilmore" he starts typing on his computer and tell me that someone already has a room for me. I should've known. He tell me it's the penthouse suite. I thank him and take the room card. As I am in the elevator my nerves get the best of me and I start panicking thinking maybe I shouldn't have come. I keep watching the numbers go up and it gets closer to my floor. I try to calm my nerves and take a deep breath just as the elevator dings letting me know I am on my floor. I take out my room key and take a deep breath and open the door.......
