Riya'sPOV

The ocean....it speaks to me. It's my friend. My onlytruefriend...

"I hate you! Mom and Dad, both of you don't care for me at all!! all you ever do is the responsibilities as the rulers of this place!!" Tears started to drop down the small girl's cheeks. My vision is blurry.

Is that girl.....me...? (You guessed it. She's dreaming :3) Am I dreaming? That's it. This must be a dream. 

"Riya wai--" The woman was about to go a fter the small girl but was stopped by a man. Mermaids actually. They had crowns on their heads. So there's no doubt about it. They are my.... Parents. "It's no use dear. Let's leave her be. We can talk to her by morning..."

"Riya..."

...?

"Riya...!"

That voice...

"Riya..!!"

I know that voice..

"Riya no!!! Don't go...!! I....I...."

It's a voice of....a boy...about my age...

"I...I love you Riya..!!"

Who--?! I turned back and saw..no one... I look at my legs but...they were already gone. It was replaced by a tail. A green tail. My tied hair....it wasn't tied anymore. I was all on my head, spreading around. My red-blood hair is scattered. Am I.....underwater? No. This can't be. I can't be under water! I just can't! I looked around and started to panic. "N-no..! I-I shouldn't be here..!! I-I have to---" Someone grabbed my arm. "Its okay..." A deep, muscular voice called. I know this voice. It's... "Riya...it's okay. I'm here for you..." I felt my cheeks burn brightly. "K-Kotao...." I whisper softly. I don't understand... Why am I happy? Why am I so relieved seeing him, being with him, letting him calm me down? I can't be with this jerk.... not with all the things he did to me! 

"Riya...everything's gonna be fine..." He simply strokes my hair gently. He slowly opens his mouth. He seems to be saying something. I can't...read his lips tho. Then a smile appears on his face. He suddenly pulls me in for a hug. Obviously, I was suprised. But...I somehow calmed down. I looked behind him and saw another dimension. Is this...another memory...?

13 year old Riya POV

I saw a girl. That's me in the age of 13. "...." I stare blankly at the floor. My vision in too blurry. "Princess, your parents are waiting at the dining ar--"

"I don't want to eat."

"But Princess you've be-"

"I SAID I DON'T WANT TO EAT!! WHAT DO YOU PEOPLE THINK OF ME ANYWAY?! DO YOU THINK OF ME AS A THING?! I DON'T WANT YOUR STUPID STUFF!!" Yes. I was that rebellious. "....Get out of my room.." And then the door closes. I don't care about how they fucking think. All I care about is leaving this place and go to the shore and have legs. My only desire is....to go to the human world....

"Riya!" A voice called out my window. I look over my window and see a young male about my age. He had blue hair and dark grey hues. He swims in with his black tail. This kid is no doubt a Sharkman..... they're usually banished from the kingdom. But...he was my only friend. "Ne, ne, do you wanna play something? Come on let's go out to the shore!~" He offered.

"But.....Black.....what if they found out.?" He simply snickers. "No they wont~ Besides, I have my guards on cover so surely they wont~" Yup. He's a prince. The prince of the Sharkmen. Black giggled, grabbing my arm and pulling me out. "Come on we're gonna miss it if we stay here any longer!~" We went out of the window and then there it is...the reflection of the light that hits the blue water, causing it to hit ligthly on my skin. We kept swimming until we reached the shore. "Black...are you...sure with this....?" He holds my hands and nods. "Yes! Riya.....when we grow up....can I...I mean...we...you know...g-get married?" Out of the blue, it was my first time seeing Black blush like that. "M-maried...?" I don't know why but....I nodded at some point. He chuckles and hugs me. "Yatta!!~~~I...I love you, Riya!~"

Present Riya's POV

"Love.....me....?" I repeat. I push away Kotao from me to avoid him from hugging me. "I...remember....everything..." I mumble lightly. I push awa Kotao even harder. "T....This is wrong! B-Black he......I promised him! I....I love him...! I love Black..!!" I started screaming at Kotao. "Riya...." He only says. The next thing I knew.....I looked at him, he was already holding a knife as he grinned. "Riya....tell me....who ...who's Black...?..~" S-shit! I....I said too much!! "N-no one..!!" He puts his hand over my cheek. "No!!" I slap it aside and started running. "Hah ah hahh!!" Pants came out of my lips. But soon enough, I started falling. I simply scream. "KYYYAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!" I hoped for something like a pillow to catch me. "Help me!! Please!!! Someone!! Wake me up!!" And then out of nowhere, Kotao stabs my tail. It hurt. A lot. "Gah?! What the fuck you moron?!" He starts chuckling. "Hey guys! I caught our Dinner !!" Then I wake up. "AAHHH!!" I shouted. "A....a dream....." I looks at my clock. It's three am. "......A ....nighmare ....."
