Chapter. 1

Leoke'S POV

It's 5:12 in the morning, I'm doing this for something I don't even want to go to, School. I got ready, thankfully it being Friday, went to the bus stop. My bestest friend ever, Hishi was there, I walked up to him, and hugged him. He has brown hair, beautiful Minty Green eyes, and, much like me, a pair of wolf ears, and a tail. His ears are purple, and super soft, and fluffy, and his tail is even fluffier, it's red. My ears are golden-ish, with a purple tint, and my tail is Minty Green, just like his eyes. Yes, we're half Wolf half Human, people don't look at us any differently, it's not that rare, of a trait to have. "Oh look, it's the fag." Some kid behind me said. I HATE HIGHSCHOOL. But he was right, I have a HUGE crush on Hishi, I want him. We were sitting next to each other on the bus, I kissed his cheek. He blushed but, he didn't seem to mind. He just put his arm around me, and I Nuzzled my head in to his shoulder. We got to school, and the doors had papers on them telling us we had an assembly. Ugh. We went to the assembly, I sat next to Hishi, once again put his arm around me. "Thank you, all for coming to, Aishitsuta High's first assembly of the second semester." The principle said, as if we had a choice. "We would like to honor the acheivments of last semester's students." She went on and on. I got called up for being on the Honor roll, and for being the second top runner, on the Cross country team last semester. When the assembly ended it was lunch time, The Seniors eat first, then the Juniors, the sophomores, and then freshmen.
I'm a sophomore so I had to go to my 4th hour. Thankfully me and Hishi had: 1st, 2nd, 4th, and 6th hour together. We went to lunch and ate we together, we went to our 5th hours. When we met up for 6th hour, he told me to check my locker after 7th hour. When 6th hour was over, I hugged Hishi and walked away. Sitting in math class, waiting and waiting for that bell to ring.

Hishi'S POV

I put a note in Leoke's locker after 6th hour. I walked away smiling. Sitting in Geography, bored out of my mind. The bell rang. "Finally!!" Me and a few other people said. I stood up and practically ran out of the room. passing by Leoke's locker on the way to 8th hour, one of the only classes I enjoy:Home Ec. The class flew by, and the bell rang. I walked out of the room, and out of the back door of school. My note told him to me there.

Leoke's POV

I started walking towards where I was supposed to meet Hishi. I got there and no one was around I pulled out phone and started to unlock it, when I saw Hishi walking up to me smiling. He came over and we sat down on a bench. "So, what's up?" I asked as he slowly put an arm around me. "Nothing I just wanted to be alone with you, for a while." A blush creeps onto my face. I rested my head on his shoulder, I put a hand on his Rock Hard abs. We stayed like that for a while. Then none other than the kid from this morning, came up behind us. "Well, would you look at these
love-birds." He said mocking us. He smacked Hishi on the back of his head, and pulled my long hair, that I always got bullied for. Then all of the sudden, Hishi took his arm off me, hopped over the bench, and socked that kid in the face. "Back. Off." He said in a serious tone, that voice was kind of scary. He sat back down and put his arm around me again. "Why did you do that?" I asked looking at his beautiful, minty green eyes. "Because he pulled your beautiful hair." He said as he pulled my hair to one side. My hair was purple and red, and reached to around my middle back area. A dark pink blush appeared on my face. "T-Thank you." I said, I rested my head on his shoulder. A few minutes later, my phone went off, it was a text from my older sister, her name is Asuka. 'Hey, what are you doing?' The text read 'just hanging out with Hishi, why?' I replied, she knows about my crush on Hishi. 'I want you to come home. Hishi can come too.' She said 'k' I replied. I looked to Hishi, staring at the ground, off in his own little world. It was really cute, "Hey Hishi?" I asked. "Hmm?" He hummed softly, "My sis wants me to come home. She said you can come." "Ok." He responded "I'm gonna take the shortcut through the woods, but stay close okay? It's scary back there." I asked "Of course." He replied. We started walking, into the woods. I looked around a little bit nervous, but I felt safe with Hishi. He noticed my behavior, and put his arm around me. "Don't be worried, I'm here and I'll protect you." He said I wrapped both my arms around him. He's much taller than me, I'm about up to his chest. We got to my house and went inside. "I'm home sis!" I yelled shutting the door behind us. She came to us. "Hey Guys." She said, Hishi still had his arm around me. My sis saw, and gave me two thumbs up, causing Hishi to blush. He pulled his arm away, scratching the back of his neck, obviously embarrassed. Asuka walked away, and me and Hishi went to my room. "Do you have homework today?" He asked I shook my head no "how about you" he shook his head. "Wanna watch a movie? " I asked, he nodded I pulled my laptop out of my backpack. I sat down cross-legged on my bed, Hishi sat behind me, he wrapped his arms around me, so hands were on my stomach. We were watching a movie called: 47 meters down. It's a shark movie, apparently with a lot of jumpscares. Everytime I screamed, Hishi being the caring person that he is, grasped me tighter, and calmed me down. He's never done this with anyone else. I feel so safe, and special around him. The movie was nearly over. Hishi still had his arms around me and his hands on my stomach, then my sister walked in on us. "Hey Leo, mom told me---" Hishi quickly removed his arms. She shook her head quickly, as if she was dazed, "Anyways mom told me to ask if you or Hishi wanted her to pick up something to eat" she finished "I'm ok." Hishi said "Same." I said, Hishi slowly, slid his hands back to my stomach. A blush appeared on my face. She just smiled, "I'll leave you two alone then." She said winking at me.

Hishi's POV

About an hour of calming Leoke down, and practically cuddling with him, Went by, he's really cute when he's scared, I want to ask him out, but I don't know how. My mom called me, telling me to come home. "Hey, I have to go" I told Leoke. "Ok, do you want me to walk you home?" He asked "Nah, I'm ok. Besides you have to walk back alone." He walked me to the door, I gave him a hug, and walked out the door waving. When I got Home, the first thing I did was text Leoke. 'Hey Leo I'm home' I sent, he's only okay with either me or his older sister, or younger brother who's currently at a camp, calling him that 'Good, happy you made it back ok.' He replied 'Hey, I don't know if I can hang out tomorrow, or the day after.' It's Friday and I'm usually never free on weekends. 'Ok' he said .

The rest of the day went by, we were talking all day. I slipped some subtle
Lovey-dovey stuff in every once in a while, he didn't notice, if he did he didn't mention it. We said goodnight, and I passed out.

The next morning

I woke up a hell of a lot earlier than normal, on weekends. It was 8:37 A.M. My mom was already awake. I hugged her, then I got ready for the day. "I'm gonna take a walk mom!" I yelled as I was leaving "Ok!" She yelled back. I was in the woods the sun was shining a nice yellowish-Orange color. I was thinking of Leoke, the reason we got along so well when we met, was because both of our dads were major douchebags. Neither of us, have a dad anymore. I was walking along a little River that runs through the woods. I saw something weird out of the corner of my eye. I saw a stuffed rabbit, the very same stuffed rabbit, that Leo lost when we were seven. I picked it up, and sprinted home. I washed the mud off of it, and let it air dry. My mom was planning to take me somewhere, so I guess I had to give it to him on Monday.

**Time Skip to when Hishi gets home**

It was 7:47 PM when we got home, and I was completely drained I fell down face down on my bed, too tired to change. I passed out soon after.
