Chapter. 6

A week later

Leoke's POV

FINALLY, it's here!!! Track tryouts are today. I've been waiting for this, since cross country ended, in October. It's now, March. Me and Asuka, picked up Hishi, and Meita, and went to school. We sat through the first six hours, when the intercom said, "Any students, interested in joining Track, please meet in the gym. Me, Asuka, and Hishi, went to the gym. They told us when, and where to meet for tryouts. The rest of the day passed, and I got changed and went out to the football field. There were about 50-90 people there. The way it works is the top 15, fastest mile times, for the guys, and girls, made it. We lined up on the track, when the coach blew the whistle, I started out pretty far ahead of, Hishi and Asuka. When they caught up, they managed to keep my pace. By the time we were on our 2nd lap, they were out of breath. On my third lap, I was still going strong, and I sprinted my last lap. I was the, second guy to finish. When everyone one else finished we all caught our breath. He started calling names of the people, that made it on the team. I was the second name he called for the guys. Asuka, was the seventh name called for the girls, Hishi sadly didn't want called. "I have a question, for,
Mr. Tatama." The coach said. "Yes sir?" I replied "Since Mr. Tagagami, isn't doing track this semester, would like to be captain, of the track team?" People started clapping. "Yes sir." I said with the biggest smile on my face. He was also the coach for the cross country team, Makoto Tagagami, was the captain of the cross country team. He's a Junior I was really good friends with him. Remember when I said I was the second fastest runner on the cross country team? Makoto was the fastest. I was excited to take his spot for this season. He's skipping out on track, because he hurt his leg last semester. After the clapping subsided, he announced, practice will be every Monday-Thursday, and meets will be on Fridays, starting next week. After that was all over, some of my friends from Cross country came up to me. "Hey congrats, captain." One of them said, "Thanks." I said with a smile. "I barely even recognize you, with that tattoo." He finished "I guess I'll see you guys at practice." I finished. They nodded, and left. We went home, after dropping Hishi off at his house. I took a shower, and texted Hishi. 'Hey' I texted, 'hey' he replied 'sorry you didn't get picked for the team 😣'  I said 'its cool' he replied. After awhile, I managed to convince him to spend the night. I finally get to sleep with, my boyfriend again.

1 hour later

We were playing 'assassin's creed, multiplayer'. And I was dominating, after I had come in 1st place for the 7th time in a row, Hishi said "How are so good at this?" "This is a competition, I don't lose competitions." I replied. He rolled his eyes, "I love you, ya dweeb." He said kissing my forehead. We played for a while, until I unintentionally yawned. "Aww, wittle Leo is tired." Hishi said using a baby voice. "Shut up." I said punching him in the shoulder. We were sitting on the bed, so he decided to push me over. He was on top of me, he kissed me, passionately. I wrapped one arm around his neck, and put one hand on his lower back. We parted to catch our breath, panting, I dove back into the kiss. He made his way down my neck, leaving hickeys in his path.

The next morning

I woke up next to Hishi, wearing nothing but an oversized shirt. I looked over to him and saw that wasn't wearing a shirt. Did we....... No we couldn't have........ Right? His eyes slowly opened, "Morning, babe." He said as he sat up. I blushed at his words, he'd never really called me 'babe' before. "Morning." I replied "Did we?" I asked, he tilted his head, confused I gestured to his shirt hanging off my shoulder, it's so big on me. When he got the hint, he blushed and said "No, don't worry." He smiled at me. His smile is mesmerizing. It's Saturday, so we don't have to do anything. I got up, and put on some shorts, making sure Hishi couldn't see. I went into the bathroom, to wash my face. When I came back, Hishi was gone, and their was a little box on my bed. I went to find Hishi, he was in the kitchen, talking to my mom. I didn't want to interrupt, so I went back to my room, and looked at the box. I opened it, and I saw something that, made me laugh. It was a locket, and a bracelet. I opened the locket, it was a picture of me, and Hishi as kids. I pulled out the bracelet, it had a wolf charm on it. It had a word on it, 'Babe'. Just then I felt a pair of, muscular arms wrap around my waist. "Babe." He whispered in my ear. I blushed at that, but I can't say it didn't feel good to, be called someone's 'Babe'. I turned around and kissed him, he wrapped his arms around me. I felt safe in his arms, as if I wasn't already melting into the kiss, he slipped his tongue through my lips. He entangled his tongue with mine, our tongues moving against each other's. It felt amazing. When we parted for air, he put his hand up to my face, and started tracing my tattoo with his finger. "I love you." He said looking down at me, with a blush. "I love you, too." I said, I stood up on my toes, and kissed him again. He picked me up, so my face was level with his. He set me down, the next thing I know, "Awwww." Asuka was standing in the doorway, she had her camera out. She had taken pictures of the whole, make-out session. "The Hell, Asuka?!?" I yelled, blushing. She chuckled, and walked away. Hishi, pulled me to him, "It's Okay, at least you looked adorable." He said. "You're an idiot." I said, I have him a peck on the cheek, "but you're my idiot." I finished
