Chapter 20

5 Years Later

Kelsey and I are on our way to her most waited experience. A queen concert. She told me that it was a free concert. I've been trying to think these couple of years on how to react when I see them performing.

Kelsey and I pick a spot and chat a little until the performance. I was really anxious and my palms were beginning to become sweaty and warm.

I focus my attention to the stage. I watch them as they walk out. Kelsey immediately begins to hysterically scream and jump all over the place, like other fans. I can't keep my stare away from them, I once knew them, before the fame.

"Today we will be performing our new composition, Bohemian Rhapsody." Freddie calmly states as he begins to play a beautiful melody. I never knew he could sing or play piano. I realized that I never really payed attention to his hobbies.

Brian's POV

As we walk onstage, something feels different. It's not the fans, but it's something else. I quickly look around the audience. My gaze meets a girl around my age. She seems familiar, way familiar, I just can't grasp what it is about her.

After the opera part, we jump in as fog begins to form. I play my guitar and I feel alive. This has always been my dream, to perform.

When the concert is over, I anxiously watch as this one Fangirl comes over to me, while dragging her friend along, it is the same girl.

"Umm..hi i'm a really big fan, you're Brian May?" Ugh.

"Thank you and yes I am." I politely answer her obvious question. I pay more attention to her friend than her.

"Can I have an autograph?" hope is shown in her ocean blue eyes.

"Of course, love." I quickly take her notebook and scribble down a sweet phrase, "Would you like to meet the rest of the band?" I suddenly ask the sweet youthful girl, feeling generous.

All she does is nod in approval. I quickly go around back and look for the guys.

Jasmine's POV

"Kelsey, just chill the fuck out." I try to relax my overly excited fangirl.

"It's just, I'm going to meet my idols!" she nearly falls on her knees as I aid her in supporting her own body weight.

I sigh and do my best to calm her while Brian returns with the band. This feels so awkward, seeing your ex-boyfriend in a band, but he doesn't recognize you. Sometimes it hurts, man.

Brian returns shortly with the band trailing his steps, and I'm here trying to control my fainting friend.

"Hello girls, nice to meet you all." The band smiles and gives us warm hugs. I flinch at the contact of their warm and overpowering scents.

"You guys are awesome!" Kelsey shouts with joy. The fellas laugh a little and continue speaking.

"We are very glad you all came to our concert, thank you for the support and we couldn't have done it without you." Freddie speaks softly and mellow.

They sign a couple of Kelsey's posters and give us each a free t-shirt. We say our goodbyes and I follow Kelsey. I feel a tap on my shoulder to see who it was. Brian.

Brian's POV

I'm doing this now or never. I slightly tap on the mysterious girl's shoulder. She quickly turns around and I know it is her.

"Umm.. hi" I try not to stutter.

"Hello." she sounds so relaxed as she plays with her thumbs.

"How should I say this, do you remember me?" I feel myself blushing in the shadows.

"Yes I do." she states and runs up to hug me.

I pull her by her waist as our lips connect. We never lost that sweet rhythm. I've missed her so much, I could never forget her.

"I'm so sorry about everything, and I regret slapping you, it was the heliostats taking over my body" I whisper in her ear, "I couldn't find you and I decided to give up, and now I have finally found you, love of my life." I delink our lips as our tongues move together in motion.

"No, it was my fault, I just ran away from my problems and never faced them." she starts sobbing on my shoulder.

"What is going on here?!" I see the whole band and Kelsey watching us, "explain all of this!" great.
