"So what did you guys come here for in the first place?" Asked rainbow dash still sitting on a neatly placed carpet resembling the princess of friendship,much like the banners in castle of the two sisters.
"Well actually rainbow, we came here because you flew right past us and spike almost fell, so we went to see why you were in such a hurry."
Starlight explained.
"Oh, it was nothing, Applejack was just worried and I raced to find her and comfort her."
Explained rainbow.
"Awwwww" twilight spike and starlight said in sync, and both Applejack and rainbow dash blushed.
"So I'll ask if the girls are free to hang out in the castle for a bit around six so we are all going to show up and whenever you two feel like it you can share your news"
Twilight stated the plan.
"Sounds great twilight"
both Applejack and rainbow said together. As they turned to walk out twilight stopped them.
"You two are so cute together"
She said with a chuckle,
Rainbow dash looked at Applejack and blushed, and Applejack jokingly roles her eyes as a smile spreads across her face and they headed out the door.
As applejack and rainbow dash got back to sweet apple acres Applejack decided to tell her family about her and rainbow.
"Ah'm gonna go tell Applebloom, big Mac and Granny Smith about us, I'll be back in a minute"
Said Applejack as she kissed rainbow gently on the forehead, and off she went.
Rainbow plopped on a pile of hay outside enjoying the cool breeze and the slight warmth of the sunlight reflecting off her blue coat and rainbow mane. She picked a shiny red apple out of a bucket they used earlier in the morning to catch the apples she had bucked, and she sat there thinking and staring off in the distance and took a bite from the apple. She closed her eyes and focused on the calming apple tree scented air and the chirping of the birds.
"I bet Fluttershy would enjoy this" she thought to herself as she swallowed the apple she had chewed. She opened her eyes as Applejack grabbed her Apple and took a bite out of it,
"Hey babe back already?"
Asked rainbow still at ease from the quiet and peaceful moment she just had.
"Babe huh? Get'n friendlier now are we?"
Said AJ as she put her hooves on the pile of hay around rainbow dash trapping her in and about to kiss her.
"Maybe" said rainbow with a smirk on her face right as Applejack pressed her lips against rainbows, and rainbow put her hooves around Applejack's neck and pulled her closer. Rainbow could tell she wanted to make out for a bit by the way she had closed in on her and leaned in when she put her hooves around her.
They started of slow but they got more affectionate towards each other the closer they got together.
Rainbow's POV- "she is so loving and gentle, she knows just where to put her hooves and position herself. She is a really good kisser, her mane looks so different and more beautiful than ever when it's free from a hair band. It flows Down to her shoulders like a golden waterfall, it smells like vanilla and her lips taste like the finest Apple cider I can imagine"
Applejack's POV- "ah'm not going to be shy around you anymore rainbow, I am an affectionate mare and I love you so much. Your beautiful mane smells like a breath of fresh air and feels like the smoothest silks, your lips taste like the sweetest of fruits and makes me feel like ah'm in the closest place anypony will get to heaven in equestria"
They had these thoughts through the whole time they made out.
The session slowly came to an end and when it did Applejack said
"I love you rainbow dash"
With a passionate voice and got off her to lay next to the mare that changed her life.
"I love you too, but why so romantic all of a sudden?" rainbow dash said to Applejack as she got real close and cuddled under her hooves and gave her one last kiss on top of her muzzle,
"well we have a couple of hours before we are needed anywhere else and I thought about how important you are to me, so I thought I'd be spontaneous y'know, try something new" Applejack explained before rainbow put her arms around her.
Rainbow dash-"I was just curious. By the way, I-I loved every second of it, your really good, you know me very well"
Applejack- "*chuckles* well don't even get me started on you"
she said quietly enough to bring them slightly closer together. Applejack's comment made rainbow laugh a little as she got more comfortable with AJ.
A few minutes past of just silence as the two lovers cuddled before rainbow said real quiet
"I wish this moment could last forever"
And Applejack took a second to reply with
"Me too sweetie, me too"
A few hours later
Applejack had dosed off while rainbow was full on sleeping against Applejack's soft orange fur.
"Dash, Dash wake up Hun it's about five thirty five, we should head to the castle now. Rainbow dash woke up and too her luck Applejack was blocking the sun so she would go blind or something and she was the first thing she saw and woke up with a smile on her face.
"Ok, lets go"
she said and got up almost immediately and helped AJ to a stand.
They walked to the castle together and they got there a little early so the only ones there were pinky pie with delicious looking cupcakes,
Starlight and twilight. They all greeted each other and sat down.
They talked for a bit and no more than half an hour later everypony was there doing their thing.
Applejack gave rainbow a quick nod and rainbow looked at twilight and nodded, to signal that they were ready.
"Everypony" twilight got the rooms attention
" Applejack and rainbow dash would like to say something"
"Thank you twilight" said Applejack as she looked in her direction
"Rainbow dash and I have decided to start a relationship, and we hope y'all can understand and respect our decision, right dash?"
Applejack said with some nervousness.
"That's right apples" rainbow said as she got up and sat beside her.
We completely accept your decision darlings, just because you two are both mares does not mean a thing, we all agree that you can like who ever you want and we will always support you, right girls? Said rarity acceptingly
They all agreed and congratulated Applejack and rainbow dash.
"Thank y'all so much for understanding" said Applejack with a big smile
"Yea, me and AJ have been worried about what you girls would think but now that We know that we have full support it makes us much less nervous
About our love.
Rainbow said with her wing around her beloved marefriend.
"And you two are so adorable together"
Said Fluttershy in a timid but generally happy sounding voice.
It was about ten or so and everypony went back home except applejack and rainbow dash, they stayed behind to talk to twilight.
"Is there anything we can do to help clean up?"
Asked rainbow dash
"No it's fine you two can head home or whatever it is you two have in mind"
Twilight insisted
"Alrighty then" said Applejack nicely
And then they headed home.
During the walk home
Applejack and rainbow dash were walking home after a long stressful but rewarding night,
"Well good night love" rainbow said to Applejack
Applejack-" actually rainbow dash wait"
Rainbow dash-"hmm?"
Applejack-"umm if you'd like, since it's dark out y'know I was wondering if maybe you would like to spend the night with me?"
Applejack said this nervously because she felt like she might be sounding a little pushy.
Rainbow dash walked over and said to her
"I'd love that"
And off they went to applejack's place.
When they got there they went to AJ's room and she made sure there was more that enough space on her bed for rainbow to sleep.
So they climbed in and rainbow put her arm around AJ and they snuggled and got all comfy, Applejack faced the other way to kiss rainbow dash before going to sleep.
"Good night love"
"Good night Apples"
And they kissed each other good night before they got back into the cuddling position they were in before and fell asleep almost immediately.
