Piper was uncomfortable, physically as well as mentally. But it was important that her and her friends attend the demons party, so she didn't have much of a choice. Still, she thought, tugging at her dress. We can at least wear proper clothing.

Juliett had helped her to dress, she brought out this beautiful black strapless dress.

"I got this from a vampire." Juliett said with ease. "Wore it on a date or two with Ethan."

"It does look nice," I said though it was completely not my style.

"I'm sure it looks much nicer on you." I said with a smile. Juliett smiled a wicked smile, and that's when I understood.

I would be wearing this dress. My eyes widened, "No, no, no. I couldn't, it just.. I.." I stammered.

Juliett laughed and pleaded,"Just try it please!" I sighed as I took it from her and went to put it on. Once it was on, I looked at it through a mirror. Oh my god, what am I wearing, I thought.

        "It's a shirt." I said.

        "It's a dress, Piper."

"It's a shirt." I repeated. Juliett sighed and sat me down while she did my hair. When I sat the 'dress' barely covered my higher thighs. I winced and tried to focus on her making my hair instead. She looked like an Artist. Trying out new styles, frowning when they don't turn out right. Juliett focuses too easily, you can tell when she's really in to something when she bites her lip.

As I look into the mirror I take a quick glance at my face, and I see my eyes. I guess I must've glanced a little to long because Juliett spoke up.

        "Relax Pipes, they're beautiful."

"They're different." I say pointing out my one green eye and one hazel brown.

"And that is what makes them beautiful." She says, trying to reassure me. Though I still feel uncomfortable about it.

"Done! Finally." She said. Waving her arms around my hair. My hair was let down, it was messed up but it was still pretty. I could tell she went for the carefree look.

"It's lovely" Piper said. Juliett smiled and bowed. "I know, I know." She laughed.

Piper remember all that in the car, she wished that everything could just be like that. Where there were no dangers, no responibilities, just fun. But she wasn't born in a world like that.

"Alright everyone, you all know the plan right?" Ethan asked, his voice deep. We all nodded, "I'm gong to start handing out some things. Make sure to keep some hidden." He said looking at me and Juliett who was getting her thigh sheath ready.

He handed out multiple guns and knives to Juliett who was driving the car. He leaned over to Marco, "Keep these hidden too, Marco. You're our best gunsman." He said, his hand on his shoulder. Though it was in the night, and there wasn't much light in the car. Piper swore she saw Marco blush.

Before Ethan could hand over the weapons to Abel and I, Abel got up and said some private words to him. His whispers so soft, I couldn't hear anything. Abel sat back down next to me with the rest of our supplies. He took a knife and a bow and arrow. Then Abel handed me a single knife.

"No, I.. I don't do well with this.. Or with anything really, besides I don't fight like you guys. I think I'll be fine without-" Abel grabbed my hands and pulled me much closer than I was before. His hands were rough from prevous fights, I could feel his heart quicken as my head and body landed on his chest. At this point, I'm glad we got a little privacy sitting at the back.

His hand slid to my back and pressed me forward. I could feel his breath on my ear, "You're going to keep it. You don't have to use it, I'd just feel beter of you had it." Abel's voice quavered and he paused

"If I see that you don't have that knife by the end, I'll have to punish you, Piper." He said with his sly smile.

I could feel my cheeks heat up, and I hoped he didn't feel my pulse quicken. Abel's grip on me tightened only for a second before he let go.

I sat back up, trying to hide my face in my hair. It was no use, I heard Abel laugh quietly and then he wrapped his arm around me again. We all sat quietly before Ethan continued.

"Okay, so Piper. You try to get some information, we'll hold back any hell's beast and protect you." I nodded.

"And whatever they say, do not trust them fully. Do not give them any information about us and don't endanger yourselves. Most of all, do not get close to one." Ethan said bitterly. "Falling for a demon is.. is just not allowed."

Juliett turned the car left and we had arrived. Who'd get close to a demon, I thought. They don't have a sense of emotion. Only a fool would fall in love with one.

It would be a while until I realised how much of a fool I am.
