I played with the ring on my hand drifting off until I was deep in my daydream Im free to make my own choices, but why does It never go the way I wanted. I stared at the family photo in front of me my gaze slipping down studying the face of my Mother as she sat smiling holding up me as a 4 year old child. My father sat next to her planting a kiss on my cheek as my brother sat pouting with his arms cross across his chest and sticking his tongue out at our youngest sibling Yeona. Last time I saw him was that early Saturday morning hanging from his closet rod I closed my eyes lightly as I remember how Jina never cared for him and the tears streaming down Yeonas fragile and innocent eyes as she was only 9 at the time while I was 11. She also ended up tricking Jhope 3 years ago but instead she got pregnant and left the baby on his front porch before disappearing to play her game with someone else leaving his with his daughter Sunny who was now 2 and considered me as her mother figure. I wiped the tear that fell on my hand Jimin was the only one to know about my brothers suicide my hands gripped the photo tighter before slipping it back into the drawer. I chuckled lightly as his last words he told me "Yah Yumi could you pass me the pasta" in which I replied "Sure" when I handed it over to him he smiled "Thanks rat brain" I chuckled lightly as another tear fell from my clouded eyes. I grabbed a tissue quickly cleaning my face before standing up slightly as my phone rang. Yeonas face appeared on my phone screen I picked it up "Yah Yumi guess what" I heard her excited voice ring through my phone "Ah what" "Im coming to Seoul do you mind if I stay with you" My mouth dropped "Yeona of course when are you coming" it was silent for a moment "Well im on the way to the airport right now" "Really where are you coming from" "Tokyo...do you mind if I bring my friend with me?" I huffed "Just one right you guys will have to share a room...unless its a guy then he will sleep on the couch" I heard her chuckle "Don't worry its a girl" I let out a sigh "Thank goodness". "Bye Yu we've arrived at the airport" She hung up not giving me a chance to respond. I stood up walking into Jungkook office where he was sleeping on his keyboard I walked over to him silently "Ah Jungkook what am I gonna do with you" I mumbled before tickling him which made his eyes open as he began laughing making me chuckle "S-stop Yu" I stopped a few seconds after. He leaned over catching his breathe as I chuckled "Jungkookie" He glanced up "Yes?" "Yeona is coming to visit and she might possibly be staying with us for a few days" He huffed "Tell her bring her own snacks and not eat everything in the fridge like last time" I chuckled at him "Lets go home early" Jungkook said and stood up pecking me on the cheek "Alright give me a minute" I said before swiftly walking back into my office and slipping on my heels and grabbing my purse. We waved everyone goodbye and walked out the building hoping into Jungkooks car
