(Y/N)'s POV:
I woke up in the middle of the night, but strangely enough, I wasn't sweating. Tonight there was no dream, no nightmare. I just lied there in bed, trying to fall asleep but nothing. I guess I'll just walk it off. I get up from my bed and see that Ruby, Yang, and Weiss were all asleep. However, Blake was nowhere to be found. Guess I can go look for her while I'm awake.
I walk out of our dorm. Looking down both ends of the hallway, I begin to think.
(Y/N): "If I were a cat, where would I go?" I thought about it for a moment, pondering different ideas until having an epiphany.
(Y/N): "Let's try the roof top." I make my way to the stair way and see that the door was slightly propped open. I guess my intuition was right. I walk up the stairs and see the top door, leading to the roof top, was also propped open. I walk through and see Blake sitting there, holding her legs into herself and staring off at the horizon. I see that she had let down her bow as well.
(Y/N): "Perfect." She turns around suddenly, seeming surprised to find me up with her.
Blake: "(Y/N)? What are you doing here? What did you mean when you said per-" She then realizes that her bow is off. She tries to quickly put it on, but I walk over and grab her hand holding the bow.
Blake (blushing): "(Y/N)-" Then I pull her into a hug letting her head rest on my chest.
(Y/N): "It's just us two tonight. You don't need to hide who you are in front of me. Like I said, perfect." Without breaking the embrace, we both sit down. I begin to rub her ears, and she begins to pur, to my surprise.
(Y/N): "You really are too cute." Her face begins to grow bright red.
Blake (blushing): "(Y/N), you're gonna make my face explode."
(Y/N): "Then I'll put you back together so we can do this all over again." There was a long pause after this, but Blake decides to break the ice first.
Blake: "(Y/N) . . . I-I'm scared." I look down, but she doesn't look up at me. I lean back against a wall, still holding Blake.
(Y/N): "What's wrong?"
Blake: "The white fang that I grew up with has changed so much in such a small amount of time. They're getting stronger and bolder by the minute. I'm afraid I won't be able to protect anyone, mostly you and my team. They're not gonna wait for us to graduate to attack. I-"
(Y/N): "So what do you think you should do?" Again, there was a pause.
(Y/N): "Well, I'll answer for you then. We're huntsmen right?" I feel her nod her head.
(Y/N): "Then I suggest we go hunting." She then looks up at me, staring into the windows to my soul. She then leans up and softly kisses me. I pull her closer to deepen it, earning a squeak from her. After a few seconds, we pull away.
Blake: "You always know the right thing to say."
(Y/N): "I guess. But that doesn't matter now. Let's just enjoy this moment." I say as I stare off into the moon, holding Blake in my arms.
-Timeskip to the next day-
Today, Goodwitch decided that I had to teach class. Today's lesson was practical fighting. In other words, today I would teach them how to fight in the real world. However, the biggest surprise was that RWBY wasn't there. I could only guess that Blake had decided to take my words to heart, but I was worried that the others would be endangered as well. However I decided to let it slide for now.
Goodwitch: "Where is your Team (Y/N)?"
(Y/N): "How should I know? You took me away from them to make me teach. On a side note, they aren't my team. Ozpin simply assigned me to oversee them."
Goodwitch: "Well I hope they didn't go to do anything rash. Your teachings could be negatively influencing them." She said in a snarky manner.
(Y/N): "Oh so you think you can teach them better?"
Goodwitch: "Hmm . . . for now I'll trust Ozpin's judgement, but let me make this clear. I don't trust you. You're a criminal who deserves to be locked up for all that you have done."
(Y/N): "Is that all you have to say? To be honest, I don't really care for what you think I am."
Goodwitch: "Just don't go hurting the students in your endeavor for . . . whatever you are looking for." She then walks away from me. I could tell from the beginning she never liked me. Not like it mattered to me. I was left alone in the empty arena. I decide to walk back to my room, seeing that I had the rest of the day to myself.
As I suspected, I found the room empty.
(Y/N): "Perfect." From my closet I grabbed the case enclosing my new combat suit. It was a bit monochrome, but that was for its stealthy design. As I was examining my suit, I turned on the news just for some background noise. After examining my suit, I pulled out my sword, monochrome. At that moment, I hear the news switch over to breaking news.
News-host: "Breaking news! A new model of the recently released Atlesian Paladin has been spotted on the Vale Freeway. From our sources, it seems that two huntsmen and four huntresses."
I looked up at it and saw that it was all of RWBY and the dynamic duo, being chased by a new model of the Atlesian Paladin. I look over to my suit.
(Y/N): "I guess it's time to suit up." I put on my new combat armor and leap out of my window.
-Time skip-
I finally reached the highway where they were said to be, but there was no paladin, no RWBY, and no dynamic duo. There was just a wreck of vehicles in the wake of them passing through here.
(Y/N): "When I said to go hunting, I didn't mean to tear up the place." I look and see that there is an opening in the safety wall. I leap over and look over the edge, and sure enough, I see RWBY fighting that paladin. It seemed that they were doing pretty well, but then I noticed I wasn't alone. I quickly dodge to the left as an umbrella stabs at me. I turn around, and my assailant tries to swipe at me. I leap over dodging the attack, landing on a more elevated platform. I find that it is a girl with pink and brown hair, and pink and brown eyes.
(Y/N): "That's an interesting weapon you've got." She just points her weapon at me.
(Y/N): "Don't talk much huh?" I summon out my own weapon.
The girl falters when I summon it.
(Y/N): "What's wrong?" She then leaps off of the edge to where the others are. I chase after her and see that she is already at the bottom. The paladin was destroyed, and Roman was revealed as the guilty party. Yang was seemingly about to deliver the final blow, but the mystery girl blocked her and knocked her back. She was about to strike again, but I land in between them and block it. I back up and stand in front of RWBY, acting as a shield.
Roman: "Ladies, Ice Queen . . ."
Weiss: "Hey!"
Roman: "Always a pleasure! Neo, if you would . . ."
The pink-and-brown girl curtsies her enemies with a bow, but Yang will have none of it, charging forth with fists raised to strike the outlaws... only to break their image as if made out of a mirror and turn just in time to see them escape in a . The rest of team RWBY runs up to Yang's side, now cooled down with the end of the fight.
Yang: "So I guess he got a new henchman . . ."
Weiss: "Yeah, I guess she really made our plans... fall apart!"
Yang: "No. Just... no."
Weiss: "What- But, you do it!"
Yang: There's a time and a place for jokes.
Weiss: "Was this not it?"
Yang: "No, it just wasn't very good."
Weiss: "Well, at least I'm trying!"
Ruby: "Wait . . . Where are Sun and Neptune?"
(Y/N): "Girls . . ." They then all slowly turn to me.
(Y/N): "Care to explain what you've been up too?"
