He came to me in the dark
With him was a warming light, his heart
He saved me from the my biggest fear,
He walked to me in the night
His heart that lighted my day
It guided me, he let me follow him
He healed me, he cured me from myself
His heart came to me in my dark hours
Those hours to which we call the night
The dark cold night that frightened me
Was my biggest fear, and in my biggest fear
Was where I found my biggest hope
He was like a candle
He lighted my path
I followed him to the light of day
And into the dark color of the night
One day his candle broke down
And the light didn't come back
His warming heart was gone
And my soul in it contained never returned
