•You said that you would always be in love, but your not in love, no more •

"Come in" Lucas called out from the other side of the door. I entered and sat on the chair opposite of Lucas. This is the first time that I had been in his office, it was just how you would expect it to be, old and dusty with a big wooden desk. I rolled my eyes, original. He sat in a large leather chair behind the wooden desk. If he was stroking a cat he would be a perfect Disney villain.

"What?" I snapped cranky, I was in the middle of something that he rudely interrupted. We can't all be stuck up gang leaders and do nothing all day but sit in large leather seats, feeling upset with his life like Lucas. I sat down on the seat in front of Lucas like I was about to get interrogated by the police.

"This Liam guy" Lucas looked me in the eyes. "Who is he?"

"Oh for fucks sake" I leaned back into my chair and rubbed my head. I think I am getting a head ache from everyone wanting to know about Liam, can't people just leave him alone. He has nothing to do with anyone here so they dint have to know who the fuck he is. "It's none of your business" I said for what felt like the hundredth time since Lucas, Cameron and Xavier saw Liam at Starbucks.

"Your right" Lucas nodded shocking me "It was none of my business" Was? No, we were going so well. I just can't catch a brake around here. Why did he have to talk in past tense?

He continued on "It was none of my business when I saw him with you at Starbucks but Xavier seemed to think it was. Which I have talked to him about by the way. Now, it is my business when he comes barging through my front door with a child. I am a gang leader, Alysa." Lucas said my name making me look up. He said my name so softly like he was was trying to understand me. Lucas had never used that tone with me we were always fighting.

"I have men around the house trained to shoot an intruder without mercy, they could have shoot that little girl and I know that she means a lot to you so I need to know who Liam and the girl is" I shook my head, no. I couldn't do it. I just couldn't. You know when you want to tell someone something but you just feel like you can't. Your chest become tight, your throats is clammed up and your palms are covered in a layer of sweat. I really didn't want to talk about Liam to Lucas.

"No" I said but Lucas just ignored me and continued on with his little speech.

"So that my men know that they are meant to be here and don't shoot them, ok?" Lucas spoke to me like I was a little girl which I am not. I am a twenty two year old, I think I can handle my self. I sat up straight done with self pitying myself. I wiped the sweat off my hands and cleared my throat.

"Liam is my ex boyfriend and is my best friend and Alex is... ummm his daughter?" I said almost asking the end.

"Is she yours?" Liam asked with no emotion turning back into the big strong gang leader he likes to think he is. I look out the window avoiding his question. "Ok" Liam nodded "I just need you to confirm for me that Alex is yours. What you say in here is all confidential"

After debating with myself weather I should tell him out loud I finally said "Yes, Alex is mine" I said with pride. I am not sure if I just felt a weight being lifted off my shoulders or more weight added. I know Liam will be proud of me, I still need to explain to him that I am not ashamed of Alex.

I got up and left to go back to my room. Liam sat on the bed with Alex on his lap, they were talking.

"Daddy doesn't want you near the men since they are bad and might hurt you"

"But I want to stay with mummy" Little Alex wined and played with Liam's large fingers.

"Yes, I know. Daddy wants you to see mummy more too but he can't have you near bad men"
