Why did you invent it why?
With many X s and Y
Why did you invent algebra?
Why did you invent laws?
Numbers were enough
With letters it is really tough
To solve the equation
When I do it is a rare occasion
first you write the problem
Then when you die of boredom
Solving it you try
And then you start to cry
Because solving it you can’t
That’s the end to my algebra rant
Note the first stanza is to the inventors of algebra and everyone who added new laws and the second stanza is about the struggle to solve an equation
