To the girl I used to know,
It's been a very long time since we have spoken. To be honest, I was a little shocked that you'd write to me out of the blue. Thank you for the birthday wishes, and yes I got almost everything I hoped for. I'm also overwhelmed with your expression of interest towards me, I never expected it to come from you - ever. I mean, we were good friends but I never thought we had a connection. We were young, and dumb and we didn't know what we wanted. I'm sorry that I've caused you so much pain over these few years. I didn't mean to forget you, it's just that you never were a part of my life from when we were separated - it couldn't be helped. I'm just really sorry that you thought of me as this amazing human being and for me, But I'm just some boy, I'm nothing special believe me. I just don't feel anything at all towards you. This probably hurts a lot for you to hear that. But, I'm willing to give you chance to meet for the last time if it means you can let go of your pain, to clear things up.Regards,
Your lost love
