#3 "The Starfish"

After a terrible day at school, Julia and I went to her house with my boyfriend and hers (which is Connor btw). On the way we picked up Jo-Jo from after school and he ran to me and I picked him up and spun him around. "Autumn!" He screamed happily. "Hey kid!" I said putting him down. "What's up little man?" Connor asked while messing up Jo-Jo's hair. Jo-Jo just giggled and said, "Nothing much." Then we all went to Julia's house.

"Autumn! I almost forgot!!!!! My Legos! C'mon!" Jo-Jo exclaimed pulling me up the stairs. My friends started to follow but then Jo-Jo yelled, "No! Only Autumn. She promised." He looked up at me and smiled. "You're right. I did promise." I smiled at my friends. Then we walked up stairs while Julia brought out chips for the guys.

"Here are my Legos!" Jo-Jo said. Then he showed me all of the different colored ones, his creations, his little Lego guys, and his cars. As we started to build a spaceship, Jo-Jo said, "I have to tell you a secret." "Ok. What is it?" I asked. "Come closer." I did what he asked. He started blushing. "I have a crush on your sister" Jo-Jo whispered. "Ali? You like Ali?" I said smiling. "Yes. Don't tell anyone!" He said nervously. "I won't. I promise." Then I gave home the pinky-swear and we finished the rocket. Ali and Jo-Jo are in the 3rd grade together. Ooh I think that is so cute!

After the Legos we went downstairs and then Jo-Jo went over to my house for a play date with "you know who". I told Julia what he told me. I know I know he told me not too but I just HAD to tell Julia! The guys just kept eating chips. "Fat pigs." I said smiling after they devoured the whole bag. And I mean the WHOLE entire bag. "Oh shut up. You know you eat just as much as we do." Connor said jokingly. I laughed because it was true.

Julia and I made the guys watch "27 Dresses" because they have never seen it. "This is awful." Caleb said. "Shut up!" Julia said, "This is the good part!" Julia and I watched while the guys just complained. I threw popcorn at them. "Hey!" They both exclaimed. Julia joined in. Then we all were throwing popcorn at each other. We had a big mess to clean up that took about 10 minutes to do. After that Caleb and I went to my house while Connor and Julia stayed there.

But when we got there Caleb said he had a surprise for me and took my blue convertible. I sat in the front wondering where on earth my boyfriend was taking me. At one point he gave me a blindfold. I tried looking a few times but he caught me. I was wondering where on earth we could be going in California. I felt my stomach turn a couple times as we went on this winding awful road. After about 15 minutes we were there.

"Hey Autumn. You can take off your blindfold off." Caleb said. I did as he asked me to. "Caleb you didn't." "I did." He said. We were on this mountain with a beautiful view of the ocean. I love this place more than anything. I don't know how he knew.

"Autumn?" He asked. "Ya?" I replied. "Here." Caleb said as he gave me a beautiful tiny black box. "What's th..." "Open it." He said cutting me off. "Caleb." I said. I can't believe it. He gave me the most beautiful necklace ever. It's shaped as a starfish made of blue and green sea glass. The necklace is outlined with silver with a jewel on top with a silver chain. "I love you." He says. I'm shocked. I feel happy tears coming to my eyes. "I love you too." I said. Then Caleb leans in for the most romantic kiss ever. I can feel his heart beating against my chest. After what it seams like forever we pull away smiling. He gives me a big hug and whispers into my ear." You're the best thing that ever happened to me." "And you're the best thing that ever to me." I say back. "This is really cheesy." He says. I started laughing. Caleb couldn't stay serious for long unless it was super important. But even then he always seemed to break the ice. "Well I love cheesy people," I say smiling. We finally realized that it was time to go home.
