#12 "Questions"

Well the next day I get a forwarded text.

~Hey! Don't come to school today. Ms. Jelone will practicly torture us! If the whole school doesn't go, she can't punish all of us. Pass it on!~

Don't have to tell me twice. I wouldn't even think about going to school. I then get a group text from Caleb.

~Hey! Anyone free today? I was thinking about going to the movies and I don't really want to go alone:) if you're in, come to my house~

I text him back right away.

~Of course! What time?~

~11:30~ He texts back.

~I'll be there~

I meet him at his house a little early. He opens the door. I walk in his house which is obviously empty again. He pulls me into his arms and starts kissing me. I'm glad I left early. Wink wink. Sadly, I have to pull away due to a text from Braylon.

~Hey tell Caleb I can't come. I have plans with Steven. He hasn't talked to me in forever so I really want to hang out with him. Sorry.~

~K. I will.~

My gosh! Why is she with him? "Braylon is not coming," "Oh well," He seems happy that I'm done texting so we can get back where we left off. Then the doorbell rang. Jadyn and Kaitlin stood there. "Wassup bro," Jadyn said giving Caleb the "Bro Hug". Kaitlin and I just stand there laughing. Then Julia and Connor come. Wow, it sure is couples day. I would say couples night but it's only 11:30 so ya. Then we head to the movies.

Braylon's POV

I drive to TGI Fridays to meet Steven. "Hey," he says well giving me a kiss on the cheek. "Hey back," I say as we walk to the door."Hi welcome to TGI Fridays! Party of two?" The lady standing by the door asks. "Yes please," Steven says as she leads us to a booth in the back of the restaurant. "Here you are. The waiter will be right over," "Ok, thank you." I say.

"Look, I'm really sorry for not talking to you in a while. I was just on vacation and there hasn't been very good cell service." Steven apologizes. "Steven, I'm not mad. But where were you vacationing to?" I ask. "Maybe I will tell you another time." He says. "Why?" I ask

"Hi! I'm Alex! I will be server today. What drinks can I start you guys off with?" Our waiter asks us. "I'll take a cherry coke please." I tell him. "And for you?" Our waiter asks Steven. "I will have a sprite." He tells him. "Ok. I will be right back with that." "Thank you." I tell Alex.

"Steven, is there something you're not telling me?" I ask. "Look, I can tell you where I went but I can't tell you why. I went to Antarctica." "Why can't you tell me why?" " Maybe I will tell you another time," "Ok." I reply uneasily. "I'm really sorry," Steven apologizes. I don't say anything back.

Our waiter come back with our drinks. I order a burger and Steven orders a hot dog.

I don't want to annoy him with questions so I drop the subject and talk about something else.

After lunch, when he pays (Steven is such a gentleman!), I drive home. Maybe I'm just making a big deal out of nothing. But yet again, it's weird that he didn't tell me before he went.

Autumn's POV

"Let it go! Let it go! Can't hold it back anymore!" My friends and I sing while walking out of the theater. Yes we watched Frozen. And YES, we are those kinds of people. We get into Caleb's car and drive back to his house. At this point, it's like 2:15 so we just hang out there. My friends and I love disney movies! I text Braylon asking her how her date was.

~Great! Is it too late to go to Caleb's?~

~No, it should be fine. Come over whenever~

I tell everyone that Braylon is coming over.

When we pull into Caleb's house I see Braylon driving down the road. She honks and I wave back. She gets out of her car and we all walk inside.

"Hi!" Caleb's mom says as we walk inside. "Hi!" My friends chorus back.

We all head downstairs. We just hang out and talk for about 45 minutes or so.

"Caleb? Can you come up here? You're friends can come too," Caleb's mom calls in a panicked tone. We all go upstairs.

She's standing by the TV with her hand over her mouth. I see the news is on and the man talking looks like he is about to faint. "We have breaking news. A bomb was dropped on The Pentagon, the John Hancock building in Chicago, New York City, which was the biggest hit, Las Vagas, Yellowstone National Park, Mount Rushmore, and an attempt, but fail, to the White House. Thousands are dead, And the national parks are absolutely demolished. This terrorist group is not like any we have experienced. they hate everybody and everything in America. Brace yourself.

"We got a message declaring world war |||.

I sink down on the couch terrified. "Oh!" Caleb's mom screeches in horror. Connor looks like he's about to throw up and Kaitlin starts panicking.

"What?!?!?" Braylon says staring at her phone in shock.

"Steven just broke up with me!"
