I Hate Daisies

"Hey dudes on YouTube. So, uh. Hi, I'm Kuroi, and I'm gonna be playing Undertale. I've wanted to play this game since it came out, but unfortunately hadn't gotten around to doing it 'cause of a lot of stuff coming up one after the other to punch me in the face. Finally, I can play it, and this is mostly because a friend of mine wants to be there watching me play this but unfortunately can't. So... off we go, Undertale."

'Long ago, two races ruled over Earth: Humans and Monsters. One day, war broke out between the two races. After a long battle, the humans were victorious. They sealed the monsters underground with a magic spell. Many years later...'

'MT EBOTT 201X'

'Legends say that those who climb the mountain never return.'

Onscreen showed a mountain, tall and snow covered.

"Whoa, that was intense. Also, cool mountain. It's quite pretty, actually."

"Don't tell me, am I gonna-" A small being with shoulder length brown hair wearing a purple shirt with two pinkish stripes across it was shown to be making its way up the mountain.

"Well of course, I'm gonna climb the mountain. I mean, why wouldn't I. Y'know, legends do come from somewhere, even if they're just ghost stories made to scare kids from getting lost. Don't climb mountains on your own, kids."

The character was face down on the floor, on what seemed to be grass.

The screen showed a small circle of light, presumably the hole the being fell into, illuminating an underground room, seemingly carved into the rock.

"Whoa, that's where I fell, then? It's a real long drop; hope I'm not lying there dead, that'd be a pretty short game."

'UNDERTALE'

'press Z or ENTER'

"Huh. Well, that was... pretty interesting, to be honest. I had high hopes for this game, and so far, even though it's just the intro, I'm pretty hyped. So- oh, it starts over." the intro began to play again, but was cut off by the title screen, which was then replaced by the Instructions.

"Okay, it does that again when I take too long. Probably telling me to hurry the hell up and stop talking. As you wish, game."

'Name the fallen human'

"Oooh, I get to name the little cute thing! Okay. Well, I've got a thing that reminds me of that cute little guy. His name's Ares, so..."

The letters A-R-E-S were highlighted and chosen, then the 'done' option.

'Is this name correct?'

'Ares'

"Yes, yes it is."

The screen got gradually brighter, until it was completely white. Then, the screen showed the small character lying in a patch of yellow flowers. surrounded by a circle of light streaming in from the hole way, way up above.

"Ooh, daisies. I hate daisies. They're weird. Saved my ass this time though, it seems. But look at little Ares! He's adorable! His poker face is... I'm honestly quite happy with it, this guy would look weird as hell if he smiled. You ready to go little guy?"

The character moved left, then right, then did a circle around the flower patch.

"Seems like Ares is ready to go."

Ares moved to the right of the screen, where there was what seemed to be an opening in the wall. It lead to a straight passage, all the way to a tall entrance way, bordered by two pillars on the sides and an arch above it.
