From chapter 1
She couldn't bare to do that... after what happened to her old school
I stood there breathlessly but I had too. I knew I was going to be distracted because of the thoughts that happened before so I sat near a empty chair.
Mr. Plez: Kehlani why can't you sit at the seat I told you to sit.
Kehlani: Because I have allergies qnd I don't want to get sick.
Mr. Plez: Ok.. I guess you are right
He turned around and continue to write on the board and teach.
She knew that was wrong but she couldn't say it. She sat down and than she took out her books and wrote in her notebook. The sound of the door opened and everyone head was up. Footsteps went near Kehlani but she still hasn't looked up.
Jacob: Hey Kehlani
She looked up
Kehlani: Oh hi Jacob!
She blushed. They met each other's eye. Jacob blue eyes met with the green eyes of Kehlani.

Bianca: yo Jessica is that new girl looking at Jacob like that.
Jessica: wait that is! Ughhh that little butter finger is near my man
Bianca: aww they look cute together.
Jessica: No They are not!
At home
Mom: I know.... I know. She won't know about it. We gotta be careful
On the phone and don't come to the house. I will have to meet you when I can...OK bye
At school, school bell rings
Kehlani walked down the hallway
Jacob: Hey Kehlani! Wait up
Kehlani stopped at her tracks and than smiled
Kehlani: yes?
Jacob: well I was wondering if you want to have lunch with me?
Kehlani: I thought you have to go with your football friends or something?
Jacob: well... Yeah but I want to have lunch with you. So would you?
Kehlani: well no
Jacob: aww ok...
Kehlani smirked than softly hit Jacob at the arm
Kehlani: I'm joking of course I will!
Jacob: Really!
Jacob was so happy he jumped and kissed her
Kehlani eyes popped and he stopped and stared
Jessica looked and was shocked
She came over and punched Kehlani at the cheek.
Kehlani punched her at the jaw than Jessica slid down the wall and than they fought on the floor.
Kehlani: why you did that for. Are you crazy
Jessica: maybe you know what you are!
Kehlani: oh hell naw
She hit her at the head and than punched her at the jaw and than kicked her
Kehlani: I already hate life just as I hate you!
She took one last hard kick than Jacob stopped it but it was to late
Jessica eyes shut down. My heart beated... boom boom boom
