I remember it all to well, but all he did was forget... I needed him more than he could imagine, but all he did was forget.

-ChApTeR 1-

I was always an A+ student, but I fell for a guy who didn't know what an A looked like. He was perfect. The first time I looked into his eyes I felt like a hot dog that has been on the grill to long, my insides were melting and I felt like I ran a 5K marathon. But he was cool he just sat there and laughed while I babbled stupid things about school. He put my finger on my lips to shut me up but I took it badly. I yelled at him and then gave him a speech about how he shouldn't spread germs. He laughed and then said "well I guess you can't go on a date with me." "YES I CAN!!" "I VOLUNTEER!!" I scream. He kissed me on the top of the head and said: "dress pretty" smiling. I remember running home and telling my parents. They were not into it at first but they finally they said yes. It all went well until things went south.

It's twelve years later now and I've been non-stop thinking of that day. The only chance I see him Is on Facebook where he post pictures of him and his so called "love of his life" spend there fulfilled life traveling the world together. I shut down my computer and here crying from downstairs. I run downstairs to find out it's my baby, Anthony, crying. I pick him up and sing him a lullaby. His bright blue eyes starred into mine. My phone started vibrating and going crazy with texts. I put Anthony back down and run to the dining room table to see what all the ruckus was about. I nearly fainted to see that it was him!!! He wanted to meet up for dinner to get in touch again. Just to make sure I put my phone down and rubbed my eyes. Then I looked at my phone again and it was my best friend, lai, I sigh I guess my love for him was just way to much for me to handle.

Lai and her new boyfriend, Jona, are coming over for dinner. I go up to the bathroom upstairs and take my depression pills, I wash my arms and decide to put a long sleeve shirt on to hide my cuts. The chicken Alfredo was cooking on the stove, and I was all over the house cleaning. The house seemed fine but it just felt empty, like something was missing. I curled my hair and put on high-heels that were WAY to high. But I wanted to look nice. I took the chicken Alfredo off the stove and into a bowl. I placed it on the table with a pitcher of water and wine sitting right next to it. Sauces were spread around the table with sides. I put Anthony upstairs in his play pen. Running downstairs, I hear the door bell ring. I trot slowly over to the door to open it. "Hello!" said lai happily. "How have you been?'Before we get into anything this is my new boyfriend, Joanna."' "Hi, nice to meet you Joanna." "I'm Jenette." "pleasure." He said shaking my hand. "Well what are we waiting for?!" Said Lai. "Let us feast!" We walk to the kitchen table, and before long we dug in! We were having such a great time, I almost forgot about him until Lai brang it up. "So, have you found your lover boy yet?" she said smirking. "Umm.. well I um- 'Wait!' 'Why haven't you tried Match.com?" "Because I'm not that much of a loner" I said starting to crack up. They looked at me with a cold hard stare. "Umm... I think I hear Anthony crying!" "Excuse me for a minute." I run upstairs into my bathroom I look into the mirror at myself. Pictures of him popped everywhere in my mind everywhere. "Just ignore them Jenette, just ignore them." I think to myself. I walk slowly down the stairs. Lai and Joanna are getting there jackets on. "Oh! 'you're leaving so soon?'" "Ya, we have to go to my moms now." "Well,.. Have fun!" "Ok bye-bye!" "Nice to meet you Joanna" "Bye!" I shut the door and I and go upstairs. I take off my clothes and put on sweats and a t-shirt. What will I do? I can't live without him, I think to myself.

The next morning I get up and I get my running clothes on. I eat an apple for breakfast, and feed Anthony his baby food. My neighbor Mrs. Labce, is the one who watches Anthony while I go for a run. As I walk out of the house, I was stopped by a giant animal. A deer? It looks up at me and I couldn't believe it was a dog! I slowly walk over to it and look at its name tag; it read Ellie. I look up and was about to cry. "Ellie." That was what he called me, because I looked like an Ellie. I hear clapping and yelling. "ELLIE!" "Come here baby girl!" "I GOT HER OVER HERE!!" I scream.
