-cHaPtEr 16-

«Mark's POV»

We stayed in the rain for about 3 hours, and I gotta admit, it was lots of fun. When we came in, it was still pouring pretty hard. I carried Jenette in, bridal style, as I like to call it. When we got in, Jenette, came down in ankle high leggings, and under armour sweat shirt, and her hair up in a pony tail, with an adidas thin strapped head band.

"Where did you get those clothes from?"

"I stopped by my house earlier today."

"oh." I shrugged.

I got up and walked up to her, I wrapped my hands around her waist, and pulled her close. Our foreheads touched, then our noses, then our lips.

"Today was fun." I whispered in her ear

She chuckled "yes it was."

She grabbed my hand, and walked over to the couch. We sat down, and watched mean girls. In the middle of the movie, Ellie, hopped up onto the couch, and sprawled across our laps. They were pretty much, the most two important girls, in the world to me. And I never wanted that to change.

"Hey, can I sleepover again tonight?" She asked hesitantly.

"No." I said sarcastically

She snorted "I love you to pig snot."

"Is that what I am?" I asked laughing.

"Nope."

«Lai's POV»

Me and Jona haven't been getting along lately, mostly because he got me pregnant and we live in his parents house. But he's trying to work his magic to get them to move out, but keep.their dog, Kimberly, here. Kimberly was a cute little beagle/pug mix. Also known as a puggle. She was about five, but she still was as small as a puppy. But I really liked Ellie, but Jona would never agree to get a big dog, the biggest dog he'll get, is a corgi. But we have our own cat named Ashley, she was a main coon kitten. Jona's parent have agreed to move out, October 6th, if Jona quit smoking, which he did, so, Today's October 5th, and the moving truck is coming tomorrow. But Jona being like he is, were going to this adoption event tomorrow,sponsored by the SPCA. Jona rushes into everything, but I can't argue with him. But I wanted to call Jenette up, and see if she wanted to go with Mark. So I took out my phone and called her. It took about three rings for her to finally pick up

«Jenettes's POV»

Lai was calling me, so I picked up.

"Hello?"

"Hey Jean, it's Lai."

"Hey girl, what's up?"

Mark looked up at me confused

"I was wondering if you would want to go go the SPCA adoption event with me and Jona, and bring Mark along?"

I paused for a minute, thinking about what we were doing tomorrow.

"Totally! Where should I meet you?"

"Umm how about Starbucks at 10:00?"

"Am?"

"Yeah haha."

"Sound like a plan!"

"Yayy!"

"Ok buh-bye!"

I hung up the phone,and put it on the kitchen counter. While I was in the kitchen, I opened the refrigerator, and got a mini water and whipped cream, I tilted my head back and swirled the whipped cream into my mouth. Mark started to crack up

"Hot." He said cracking up

"Want some of this?" I murmured

He got up, and grabbed my waist and pulled me close, he connected his lips to mine, and sucked out like half the whip cream in my mouth.

"mt mt mt."He sputtered

"Sweet." He said chuckling

I laughed. I put the whipped cream back into the refrigerator, and took a swig of the water and put that back in too. Mark turned off the TV, and he smushed his lips onto mine, I grab his neck, and pull closer, he supported my thighs, with his arms, now my legs were wrapped around his torso. He walked upstairs, and went into his room, and he threw me down on the bed, he went into the bathroom real quickly and came back out, an I think we all into what happened after that.

«Mark's POV»

"Jenette. Jenette? Jenette!"

"What?!" She jumped up  ferociously.

"C'mon were gonna be late!"

"For what?"

"The adoption event!"

"Omg!"

"Wait!"

"What, what do you possibly need?" She snapped

"I love you." I said smirking

She stuck her her tounge out at me, And then jumped outta bed, and into the bathroom.

«Jenettes's POV»

I ran in the bathroom, and started brushing my knotty hair.

"My hairs down to my hips? Hmm."

I pulled off my old clothes, and threw them into the hamper, I slipped on shorts and a white tank top. I threw on braided sandals, and French braided my hair. I dabbed mascara onto my face, and didn't bother with lipstick. I threw on some concealer, and foundation.

"I look presentable, I guess?" I said to myself in the mirror

I run downstairs, where Mark was waiting in the kitchen. I grabbed a banana, and and grabbed Mark's hand, and ran out to the car. I blasted the AC, the finally we left.

«Lai's POV»

We just arrived at the adoption event, but no sign of Jenette and Mark. When I went up to the front desk, I dropped 5 dollars into the donation jar, just then, I hear a familiar voice.

"Lai!" Jenette screeched "Over here!"

I run over laughing, with her having a heavy breath.

"Hey, sorry I'm late." She murmured

"Oh no probs girlfriend!"

She smiled.

"Oh! I almost forgot, Mark, this is Jona, Jona, this is Mark."

"How-ya doin?" Jona asked

"Fine how a bout you?" Mark replied

"Great man."

"Well let's get too it!" I hollered
