We all filed into our seats at 8:30, as the band started playing our school theme song. The loudspeaker at the field began announcing the football players names along with their numbers. The third name called was my big brother, Jason Gavanaw, number 15 (my brother personally requested the number because it's my birthdate in February). When Jason was called, my whole group cheered, with me being the loudest.
Most girls hate their older brothers, but not me. I love my 16-year-old, varsity football player of a brother. He's perfect in every way: pitch black anime (Kirito from SAO) hair, forest green eyes, perfect complexion, six foot three, athletic, charming, a gentleman, and super smart in every subject. That's my Superstar! Yes, I'm a very supportive and proud sister.
Jason could tell that the loudest section of the crowd was us because he looked straight at me, and gave me a huge smile. It was now his time to shine as the Bulldogs Quarterback. And you bet your ass I gave him one right back. The loudspeaker continued calling out the rest of the players as they ran out into the field.
The game was great. Our team won 47 to 15. The crowd rushed out into the field to congratulate the Bulldogs and threw my brother up in the air. I screamed, "Yeah! You did it, Jason! You won the game! WHOOO!!!" He was looking around, searching for me, and when he found me, his eyes stopped dead on mine. I don't think I've ever seen my brother look so happy and proud of himself before. I was so proud of him too. Everything was perfect.
Then everything changed... Suddenly, there was a huge black aircraft over the field. We could only see it due to the field's tall lights and it was 10:30, and really dark. Then there were big, burly men descending on ropes from the carrier. Sixteen of them in total. They were dressed in all black and looked like a S.W.A.T. team, but instead, these guys had the letters S.I.N. on their vests. And what's weird is that it was in the exact same font as normal SWAT.
Kids were running away and screaming. I was trying to find my group; that had somehow been separated from each other. I looked back at the spot where the men had been sliding down to the ground, to find 2 of the men standing right in front of me. They looked at each other and the one on the left said, "Well that was easy". My eyes widened and I screamed as they grabbed me.
As the men hauled me up a rope (and by that I mean thrown over one of their shoulders) to the aircraft, I got to see my group. Casey was cornered then grabbed; Sasha was just starting to be hauled up the ropes; Jade was hiding under a table with 2 guys, one on each side; poor little Jasmine was curled up into a little ball in the middle of the field; and Rose was trying to talk to the 2 men flanking her.
Then Jason saw me. "Skylar!!" he screamed, his eyes filling with fear and tears. "I will find you!" After that, I lost it. I cried, screamed, and kicked but the guy that was holding me didn't budge. Like at all. I was almost to the aircraft. And the last thing I saw from the world below, was Savana and Scarlet back-to-back, ready to fight the 4 guys surrounding them. I guess S.I.N. had 2 men for each 1 of us. Then I was boarded onto the aircraft and knocked unconscious before I could even blink.
Saturday, September 15, Day 1
When I finally came to, I was super groggy. It took me a couple minutes to feel everything in my body, then a couple more to be able to think and remember everything. I managed to sit up and open my eyes. It was really bright and my eyes were screaming with pain from the burning lights. After my eyes adjusted a bit, I looked around.
My gang and I were in a medium sized room on the aircraft. We were all on the floor, and there was nothing in our metal room except us. Sasha was just starting to stir. "Sasha! Sasha wake the freak up!", I whisper-yelled at her. She was awake and alert about 5 minutes later. "What the hell just happened to us Sky?! We were just abducted from your brother's football game! Why us? Out of the hundred kids, why us? Ad why now? Why at all??!" she said frantically. By that time, everyone including Scarlet and Savana were awake and aware of our 'little situation'.
