"Oh my fucking god-- Brynny! Have you seen this picture?" Jessica asked, laughing hysterically as she turned her phone around to show a picture of Tyler's bare ass through a window.

"I have-- and it's fucking disgusting. It's just sad that Clay would stoop to Justin and Bryce's level and send out pictures like that-- we all saw what happened to Hannah," Brynley hissed.

She just couldn't understand why everyone was doing the same thing over again. It was like they hadn't learned their lesson. The whole reason Hannah left those tapes was so that they would learn-- and they weren't. They were stuck in their same old warped routine like a broken record.

"I don't know what Justin's gonna do. He says he wants to shut Clay down," Jessica said quietly, leaning over the lunch table.

"We tried that," Marcus scoffed.

"We can't shut him down-- maybe if we tried to talk to him and find out how he's feeling--" Brynley started.

"Fuck that," Marcus interjected.

"Clay must've listened to his tape. I told you-- he listens to his tape, everything changes," Zach said quickly, fidgeting nervously.

"He hasn't heard his tape. He just finished Tyler's. He didn't say anything about Jessica's party," Marcus reassured him.

"But when he does, he'll probably believe Hannah. He won't know that she's lying," Jessica said quickly. Brynley closed her eyes, trying to fight the urge to blurt out Justin's secret. Zach looked down at the table, unable to meet Jessica's eyes. He put his hand on Brynley's knee and she quickly moved her hand on top of his, trying to distract herself by tracing his hand with the tips of her fingers. It was just how they had always calmed themselves down. They didn't mean for it to happen now, but some habits are hard to break.

"Clay's mom came to see Bolan--" Courtney said quickly, rushing up to their table.

"What? Why?" Zach asked frantically.

"Ba-- Zach, calm down," Brynley said gently. She may be mad at him for acting like a douche recently, but she hated to see him so wired. His future was riding on this. If the tapes got out, he could lose his opportunity to get scholarships. Subconsciously, she knew that was the reason she got involved with the tapes in the first place. She was always going to protect him, even when she didn't want to.

"What else could it be?" Courtney snapped.

"Clay wouldn't tell his mom about the tapes," Jessica scoffed.
