I woke up to the sun shining through my bedroom windows and someone pounding on my door. I looked at my alarm clock, it's only 5:15 in the morning. Who would be knocking on my door this early in the morning? I thought as I got up and basically dragged myself to my door. I opened it up and my idiot of a boyfriend was standing there.
"Good morning, honey boo!" He said with the most stupidest grin on his face.
"Morning, Ross. Why would you wake me up? I don't have to get ready for another 20 minutes," I said, my voice deep with sleep. I have always wondered how he can get up so early. He gets up at 5 o'clock every morning to go running. Who does that? Well, he is a track star.
"I thought you would want to spend a little more time with me," he gasped and started to fake cry.
"Oh my god. Your such a drama queen," I shook my head, laughing.
"Yeah but I'm your drama queen," he said, skipping away while swaying his hips.
"Sweetie! Your gay is showing!" I shouted down the hallway. He stopped and slowly turned to look at me.
"Bitch please. It's always showing," he said, snapping his fingers in a z-formation. I laughed so hard my stomach hurt.
"See, this is why I love you," I told him. I walked over and gave him a peck on the lips. When we parted, he went to make breakfast and I went to get a shower.
The warm water felt good on my skin. I was worried because graduation was in a month. I already knew I was going to pass. I was worried because Ross and I got accepted into two different colleges. They were fairly close but we would be too busy to see each other. Another reason I was so worried was because Ross wasn't ugly, he was quite attractive, I thought he would find someone else. People at school make fun of me because Ross is so much more attractive than me. They say I would look better with a garbage can, but Ross is always there for me.
As I got out, I could smell the bacon and pancakes Ross must have cooked. I went into my room and picked out my outfit. A blue Ralph Lauren Polo, tan khakis, and white Supras. Simple but effective.
I walked into the kitchen, shaking my still damp hair. My hair wasn't very long, but I could still flip it. I loved it. I loved my tattoos, too. I have a sleeve of tattoos along my right arm. All the girls swoon over me. Even though I'm bisexual, I didn't like any of the sluts that went to my school. Ross was facing the stove whistling, unaware of my presence. I slowly walked behind him.
"Boo!" I screamed, wrapping my arms around his large frame. He was only a few inches taller than me.
"AHH! CALVIN MICHAEL FOSTER! How dare you scare me like that?" He asked me. He was still trying to catch his breath, while I was on the floor laughing. You know that 'on the floor- belly holding- tears coming out of your eyes' laughing? Yeah, that was me. "Answer me," he said, with a serious tone but humor in his eyes. He crossed his arms, tapping his foot on the ground.
"You weren't paying attention, so I thought, Why not?" I told him getting off the floor.
"Very funny. Now, breakfast is ready," he said. I don't like serious Ross, he's no fun.
"Awh. Don't be a sour puss," I teased while trying to hug him. It really hurt when he pulled away. He walked away and started to get his plate ready. I was right, bacon and pancakes. He was a strange child, always hiding his feelings.
"No. You know how I feel about surprises," he snapped at me. We quickly ate and left for school. The whole ride to hell was in a an awkward silence, the only noise being the soft music playing through the speakers.
"Come on. You know I don't like when we fight," I whispered. I looked over at Ross and his knuckles were white on the steering wheel. I placed my hand on his knee and he relaxed. Just my simple touch calmed him.
"Fine. I'm sorry I snapped at you," he looked over making kissy faces at me.
"I love you, too," I giggled. We made it to school and sighed in unison. I knew that Ross didn't like it when we got laughed at or when people pointed. I waited for the day he finally broke, he was just really good at hiding his feelings.
"I guess I'll see you at lunch," Ross said. He always hated parting with me.
"We do this everyday goofball," I chuckled at him. Again, a strange child.
" I know. Bye, I love you!" He practically screamed, attracting a lot of unnecessary attention. Didn't we just say this?
"God. I love you, too," I gave him a quick kiss on the lips. People scowled and walked away. We parted ways. I rushed to my locker, trying not to be late. We hit every red light here. The final bell rang as soon as I got in the classroom. My day had officially begun.

I looked around the class, the normal seating arrangements. The popular people in the back, the hipsters in the middle, and, oh yes, my people, the nerds in the front. I scanned the row for a seat, and, as always, there was a seat next to Cassidy. She was really pretty. Her brown curls cascaded down her back, her makeup done naturally, not caked on like the other girls. She turned around, her blue eyes staring at me. I have never seen something so blue. Her normal attire, jeans, a band t-shirt, and white Converse.
"Calvin!" She squeeked in excitement. She really is beautiful.
"Cassie!" I caught her when she hugged me. She smelt like apples when I dug my head in her hair.
"Okay, class, take your seats," the teacher called out. Everyone piled into the room, taking their seats.
I didn't have any other friends in my other classes, so I was bored out of my mind. The end of the day came and I was rushing to my locker. I had to hurry because Ross's locker was on the other side of the school. He hated to wait.
When I got over there, I saw somthing I wish I would never have seen. I had to be dreaming. Ross was kissing someone else. I couldn't take it anymore; I ran as fast as I could away from that scene. Ross saw he and started running after me.
"CALVIN!" Ross screamed at me from down the hallway. I stopped running and looked back. This gives people another reason to make fun of us.
"W-What?" By now I was fully crying. Ross caught up to me. He started to put his hand around my waist but I moved out of his reach. Hurt flashed in his big green eyes. He took a step closer, I took a step back.
"I'm so sorry, Calvin. He came onto me. I tried to push him away but he was too strong. You know I love you!" He explained. Ross started crying. I hated seeing him cry, so I had to look away. I did trust him, it's just this has happened before.
"I love you, too. This has happened before. I need some space, for a little while. I'm not breaking up with you, I just need space." I tried to explain without getting choked up by all the tears. People were awkwardly starting to leave. They didn't know what to do because Ross and I never fight.
"Are you serious? Do you trust me?" Ross asked, turning his back on me. I tried to reach his shoulder, but he started to walk away.
I said one of the stupidest things I could ever say, "Okay! Walk away! Go back to Brian! We
are through!"
Ross turned around and stopped. "Maybe I will. Bye, Calvin."
