You stick your hand in after glaring at Alfred. Upon pulling out the first item your hand touch, you discover a fortune cookie... Your eyes flew to Yao. He shook his head... You turned to Hong Kong. He nodded and walked to the closet his hands clasped behind his back... You smiled and shook your head as you walked in behind him. Typical Hong Kong. Unspeaking but supernaturally wise. He was probably the cutest of all the nations. Well at least in your opininion. You stepped into the closet.
"Hong Kong?" You whispered.
"Hai?' his voice rang through the air, softly, but still, it sent shivers down your spine.
"Are you happy we got each other?" You asked shyly.
He seemed to think for a moment before answering you.
"Hai." He whispered stepping a bit closer to you. You looked up and saw that his hands were no longer clasped behind his back. The were holding a tiny flower out to you. You took it and smiled.
"Thanks..." You blushed as you stuck the flower behind your ear. It smelled good and looked even better. He looked into your eyes.
"Did you open the fortune cookie yet?"
"Oh. No. Was i supposed to?"
He took your hands which still held the cookie and guided your hands to snap it in half.
"Read it." He whispered. You chuckled softly but the chuckle died to silence as you read the little slip of paper from within the cookie...
"Will you go out with me?" Is what it read. You looked up at Hong Kong, who was blushing and smiling.
"Yes..." You whispered.
"Hai?" He whispered back.
"Si." You whispered back.
He pulled you into a tight hug, wrapping his arms around your waist and pressing his hands to the small of your back. He looked right in your eyes and smiled. You smiled back and wrapped your arms around his neck. He was taller than you but not by much. He leaned in and kissed you softly. When he parted from you the door opened and Alfred was standing there looking dumbfounded at the two of you.
"Alright dudes. Out."
You blushed profusely and pulled Hong Kong from the closet. He led you to the kitchen where you sat together at the table and drank tea and spoke of things that were important to the well being of your country.
