Chapter 1,

I watched as the words where scribble on my trembling wrist, the cold, blue ink sinking into my skin as I read it out loud.

'867 Speranza street, Amalfi Italy, I will see you there... Ti Amo!'

(Speranza means Hope in Italian and Ti Amo means I love you!)

This was the day I had been waiting for my whole life, the day I would finally meet my soul mate...

Greetings and salutations! My name is Aaron Tucker, I currently live in lone jack, a small town in Missouri. And today was my first day of my last year in high school! But more importantly, it was the first time I spoke.. well more like communicated with what others call my 'Soulmate'. Sorry if I seem a bit off, It's just weird to be talking about this because I'm only 17 and talking about the exact person I was born to be with, it feels off knowing that I can't go back from any of this." I ran my hand through my hair letting out a shaky breath as I looked over my arm, Running my fingertips along the dark letters.

"I don't even know his or her name! ugh.. I'm so new to this I just don't know what to do. I know I am going to have to find a way to hide it or get rid of it because I don't want my mother to know I've made contact already..." My words began to slur as my mind went into deep thought, searching for ways to hide the single word 'Ciao' that was imprinted on my forearm.

I exhaled deeply and shook my head with a small grin, who knew such a simple hello could make a man's knees weak and his heart flutter.

"Well, I guess that's it for now, ill talk about things later tomorrow... Signing off Aaron Tucker!"
