#7 Zene (part 2)

(Look at the picture above; the brown headed one is Eren, which will be Gene, the black headed one is Levi, which will be Zane. Also this fanfic will have some brotherly love! Not the incest kind, but the nice brotherly love, where  the older brother takes care of the younger one!!! So, yeh! Hope ya enjoy!!!))

Gene' POV

As he walked out of the door he realized just how much work his coworkers had done, so he stood in awe. He kept gawking, until he heard a very familiar voice, "You know, the decorating would by faster if you help.'' Gene turned around and saw that the owner of the voice was Zane. Gene couldn't help himself, but to stare at Zane for while. His freckles were concealed by makeup, his eyes were no longer blue (due to brown contacts) , and his hair was parted a different way to make; to his hair look more like Levi's. Gene had to admit, Zane did look hot/sexy, but he would still like it better if Zane just stayed himself.
      "Uh, Earth to Gene. Come back, Gene.'' Zane said while waving his friend in front of Gene's face.
        "Oh! Sorry, it's just look so much like Levi himself! I couldn't restrain myself from staring at you." Gene said awkwardly, while rubbing the back of his neck.
         "Oh, it's alright." Zane said with a taint of blush across his face. "You make a pretty good replica of Eren, yourself."
        "Oh, Thanks!" Gene said with a little blush creeping up on his face.
           They kept this awkward silence between them, Aphmau had called them to help decorate the café. They both headed towards their boss, when they got there Aphmau had order them to put up the banners up. They accepted the orders and did what she had order. They both agree on that: Zane would get on the ladder and hang up the banners, while Gene would hold the ladder and give Zane the banners. They kept doing this process, even though they had only two minutes left, and over half the café left; they were still determined to finish the job. Aphmau had told them that she was going to go ahead and open the café, and they could just finish their job as customers would be entering . They said, "Yes Ma'am!", and continued their job as told.
            As they were doing their job of hanging the banners on the wall. Some where along the way, Zane started to rush. Gene had noticed this and was afraid that Zane would hurt himself, if kept going to fast.
           "Hey Zane, you don't have to rush it." Gene said.
           "Yeah, I know. It's just I want- IRENE DAMN IT!" Just Zane yelled that, he dropped the hammer, when put his hand up to his face; but when he did, he lost his balance. When Zane fell, Gene had caught him before he hurt himself again. But when Gene caught Zane; he caught him in a bridal style.
         The two didn't notice until the entire café was filled with fan girls screaming things like, "OMI! EREN CAUGHT LEVI BEFORE HE FELL!! EREN IS MAKING SURE HIS HUSBAND IS SAFE!!", "OTP!!!", or probably the most embarrassing one, " THAT'S RIGHT EREN!! TAP THAT FRENCH BOOTY TO PROVE, HIS IS YOURS!!" Gene and Zane had no idea what was going on, that's when they noticed. They both blushed a lot. Which caused more screams. 
           Gene soon forgot about all this and put his attention back on Zane. He looked at Zane's finger, and saw that it was bleeding. Gene then continued to hold Zane in a bridal style, and was going to bring him to the changing room; where they keep the first aid kit. Zane had partially screamed at Gene to let him go, but Gene had not.

Zane's POV

Zane was so flustered, that he partially looked like some uke (the bottom of a relationship) from a romance film. As Gene placed Zane down on one of the benches; Zane couldn't help but to notice that Gene had a face of concern. Zane kept looking at the older male, as he went to get the first aid kit. He realized just how truly beautiful Gene was; granted he had a HUGE crash on Gene in high school, but it was only because he saw him as a, quote on quote, "God among all men". But that was before he realized how much of an asshole he was.
Even though on he might have regained a crush on Gene, again. But he after dropping the grudge on Gene from high school, and actually got to know him, over the pass few weeks. Zane had realized that Gene was actually a really awesome guy. So much that he wanted Gene to be his boyfriend; but Zane knew that would never happen, because Gene had a crush on Aphmau.
