The Fate of the Galaxy

Finding the Ghost crew

Aboard the Starship of Princess Leia. Was Captain Rex and fellow friend R2-D2. A known Droid throught the new found galaxy. Leia was walking back and forth in the captains room. Rex was strapped down to a black sleek chair with leather around it.

Rex has been aboard the ship for eight weeks, almost 20 hours a day helping to find the Ghost crew and then taken to the living quarters. Rex looked around the walls and heard the clank of Boots near. The footsteps louder and louder. The blastdoor opened slowly and the gleam of silver armor shot into Rex's eyes. Rex  closed his eyes and looked at the Princess's guard. "Have you found them?!" He asked with a frown. No, We will just keep trying." He said softly back. "Keep guard outside the door, I need a moment with Rex." Leia looked at them and they walked out and stood guard outside the grey blastdoor. "I didn't plan for this to take this long." Leia said slowly. "Im not going to make you say anything, but do you think they're gone?" Rex asked sadly. Leia slowly nodded and sat down next to Rex. "We haven't seen anything or heard anything from them since we lost Rogue One." Leia said as she looked out into the dark space they were around. Rex looked at the dark abyss known as space. Leia followed his eyes and grabbed his hand, "Don't worry they will come up. I know it." Rex sat up and held her han right back. "Thank you." "We won't give up on them Captain." Leia said as she grabbed his arm softly. She opened the blastdoor and the guards turned. "Need anything ma'am?" One of them asked. "You can come back in." They nodded and walked in behind Princess Leia. The blastdoor closed behind them. Rex turned and saw the two guards. "Princess, Im going to go back to the living quarters." Rex said, Leia nodded as she watched him walk out of the room. As the blastdoor closed behind him Rex looked to see a familiar face. "Well if it isn't Commander Tano." He chuckled. Ahsoka turned and looked at Rex in awe. "Re-Rex?" "It's Captain Rex to you." He smiled. Ahsoka rano towards him and gave him a tight, embracing hug. She held the hug. "I thought you were gone!" She held back tears. "I wouldn't leave without saying goodbye." Rex replied. Ahsoka broke away and looked at him, "Still have that sass?" "It never left." He chuckled again. "What happend to you?!" Ahsoka asked brwaking the silence. "During Order 66 we were told that the Jedi were evil. The chip in our heads started to control the Clones. Listening to Palpatine. So I had no choice but to tear mine out. And I did." He explained looking to his old Commander. Ahsoka gave him one last hug. "Where did you go Kiddo?" Rex asked. "I left the Council and went to Alderaan. Where fellow Princess Leia found me and let me hide aboard this ship." She said slowly. Rex smiled. "Glad your back youngling." "Hey im not that little!" She smiled. "Glad to have you back Sir." Rex smiled. "You too Rex." Ahsoka walked into the room Princess Leia was in.

Hours later Rex was in his room looking at his radar. He saw a small red ping. The Ghost crew could now be found. It was Rex's only chance to find them.
