New Pet Dragon

*Malik's POV*

"He's being to reckless." I say. Valos is making things more difficult then they need to be.

"You don't have to worry about him. Ever since our parents passed, he's been even more reckless." Says Athena. That's right she's not just my guildmate but she's his sister.

"What do you mean?" I ask. Any information I can get would be helpful. I don't really know if I can trust him.

"Before Day Zero, in the real world he was sneaking around alot. Naturally I got curious." She pauses. She seems hesitant to tell me.

"I checked the attic one day while he was out, he was piecing together evidence about their disappearance." She stops.

"And?" I ask. It might be insensitive but I need to know.

"He pieced together that the driver that was supposed to be in that night called out sick last minute. The one who replaced him was a man with previous  connections to Frederic Bartholomew." She pauses again.

"I'm sorry, but can you please continue?" I ask her.

"The night after I found out, he went to sneak out again so I followed him." She says.

"What was he doing?" I ask.

"That night he got information from some previous employees of Fredrick." She stops.

"How?" Hopefully I can get her to keep talking.

"Lets just say, when he wants to be my brother is very persuasive." She pauses and then continues.

"It turns out. Fredrick paid their coworker to abduct my parents and deliver them to him. They never heard from their coworker again. They assumed he made a fortune and screwed them over but couldn't ask Fredrick without the risk of something happening." She says.

"Can you tell me what you meant by your brother can be persuasive?" I ask. 

"To you my brother may seem reckless, but really he's just playing the part of the fool. You haven't seen anything yet. Whether it's the real world or virtual world there's three things that no one should ever do." She pauses. Before I can say anything she continues.

"Those three things are endanger his family, endangering Lisa, or confronting him directly. By locking us all in here and with what happened to my parents Fredrick has done all of those things." She says. It doesn't look like I'm going to get much more out of her.

"That's all I wanted to know, thank you for telling me." I say. She leaves the room and i go back to doing paperwork. 

*Josh(Valos) POV*

I get to the east gate late, actually I'm the last one to show up. In all there's only ten people including Lisa and myself.

"What's everyone's level?" I ask.

"Everyone here is over level 700. In all we have 3 magic knights, 1 warrior, 3 supporters,  2 wizards, and one archer." Replies Wrath. Wendy is also in the group. Mary is staying behind to look after things here.

"Alright everyone let's get going then." I say. We all head to the third area using flight, it only takes a few hours to get there.

The new area is different than the first two. Half of the area is forests the other half is completely submerged by water.

"If the monsters around here weren't so deadly this place would be beautiful." Says Wendy.

"Alright everyone no battle plan. Just have each others backs and work in groups of two or more. Also, the information about my new weapon let's keep it quite." I say. Everyone nods in agreement.
