CHPR ❾
The following day when Kaiser got to school, he brought his parasol to Mr. Peterson's room just like his mother told him to. He decided to do as told for the time being to help some of the remaining guilt go away. 'Why should I feel guilty anyway!? He just needs to not be so sensitive.' Kaiser thought to himself. Though no matter how much Kaiser tried to make himself feel better he only felt worse. When Kaiser walked into the classroom, Mr. Peterson was sitting in his chair, feet crossed on the top of his desk. He was reading, as well as his home room. He looked up and spotted Kaiser. "Oh hello kaiser. What are you doing here?" He asked. "My mom told me to leave my parasol with you so I don't forget and accidentally go on the bus." Kaiser said. Mr. Peterson got up and walked over to a closet. He unlocked it with a key around his neck, and opened it. "You can put it in here." Mr. Peterson said. Kaiser put his parasol in the closet, and Mr. Peterson closed and locked it. "Thank you. I'll see you fourth hour then" Kaiser said. "don't mention it. I'll see you then." Mr Peterson replied. As kaiser left, he felt strange. Mr. Peterson should have been all peppy and over enthusiastic like he usually is. Kaiser ignored the guilty feeling in his stomach and decided it was because it was early in the morning. Even people like Mr. Peterson had to calm down at some point.

The bell signifying the end of seventh hour. Kaiser got up and started his way to Mr. Peterson's room. During fourth hour, Mr. Peterson had been less peppy just like this morning. All day people had been talking about how Mr. Peterson didn't seem like himself. Guilt churned in Kaiser's stomach every time Mr. Peterson was mentioned. Kaiser walked into the nearly deserted save for one classroom. Mr. Peterson got up from his desk and walked over to the closet. " I don't have anything to do today, so we can go now." Mr. Peterson said without expression. Kaiser frowned, and took his parasol out of the closet. They walked out of the school and stopped in the entrance way long enough for Kaiser to put up his parasol and put on his sunglasses. They then walked to mr. Peterson's black car. This was the part were Mr. Peterson was supposed to be enthusiastically chatting away, while Kaiser tried to respond without stuttering or blushing. This time it was just awkward. Kaiser wanted to say something. Anything. But he just didn't know what to say. Luckily, Mr. Peterson interrupted the silence. "Thank you for the cookies you brought over the other day. They were delicious." Mr. Peterson said starting up the car. "Your welcome." Kaiser said. They rode home in silence, Kaiser trying to think of what to say.

At mr Peterson's house, Kaiser looked around. It was a simple house, not much in it. It was small, you can only afford so much with a teachers payroll, after all. "Nice place you have here. Share it with anybody?" Kaiser bravely asked. "Nope. Just me. No wife and definitely no kids." Mr Peterson said. "Oh, okay" Kaiser said. "Thank you very much for helping me mr. Peterson" "no problem. I'll be right back. You can take a seat on the couch. Make yourself at home." Mr Peterson said. He then stalked off somewhere muttering something about calling him Alex. Kaiser sat down and waited. When Mr. Peterson came back, he was wearing a T-shirt and jeans instead of his usual attire including a dress shirt and tie. Kaiser couldn't help but blush at the sight. Mr Peterson sat down next to Kaiser. "Okay. Lets get started."

After about an hour of mr Peterson tutoring and Kaiser trying his best to ignore the close proximity, the doorbell rang. " I'll be right back Kaiser." Mr Peterson said getting up. The living room were Kaiser sat was close to the door, so Kaiser watched. When mr Peterson opened the door, a pretty young girl seemingly Mr Peterson's age stood there."Oh, Alex~!" The girl cried in a sugary, high voice that hurt Kaisers ears. "I've been looking for you everywhere~! Oh you have no idea what it took for me to find you~! But it's okay now~! We're finally together again~!" Kaiser decided he did NOT like this girl. He felt like stomping over there and slamming the door in her face. "What are you doing here?" Mr Peterson said in a stern voice that sent shivers up Kaisers spine. "I told you already! We're done! Get away from my house before I call the cops!" Mr. Peterson yelled. "But I'm not done! I still love you!" The girl cried. "Your crazy!" Mr. Peterson yelled, slamming the door. The girl ran off crying. Mr Peterson came back and sat down on the couch with a huge sigh, and put his face in his hands. Kaiser immediately felt like doing whatever it took to cheer him up. "Mr Peterson?...Mr Peterson?... A-Alex?" Kaiser tried. "I'm so sorry you had to see that, Kaiser." Mr Peterson said, shaking his head that was still in his hands. Kaiser walked over and rubbed Alex's back without thinking. He was shocked at himself once he realized what he was doing, but didn't stop. "I know it may have seemed I was being kind of hard on her, but you have to be firm with those kind of people. The moment you show weakness or mercy, they take advantage of that trust and use it against you." Alex said. "Um...We can stop here for today, if you want." Kaiser said not really knowing what to say. He hated seeing Him like this. Alex sat up and gave a small smile. "No way! I'm not letting you get away that easily~!" Kaiser smiled back, extremely relieved to see that Alex had gone back to his previous self. "Besides, I finally got you to call me Alex~!" Alex said gleefully. "Psh. Whatever." Kaiser smiled, too happy to care.
