                                                         CHAPTER 1

I stared at my reflection in the mirror, glaring at it.

I hated my face, my round cheeks and blue greyish eyes. Hated me.

I always thought I wasn't pretty.

But then I didn't know my life was about to change, and I was going to become some kind of supernatural person.

As I brushed my long, thick aubren hair, I could of sworn my reflection winked at me.

I stopped brushing my hair and stared long and hard at my reflection in the mirror.

When nothing else happened I figured I was probably hallucinating.

Now crazy me was going crazier.

I picked up my brush again and started brushing through the knots as quickly as I could. Then I quickly applied some eyeliner and lip gloss.

Afterwards I ran downstairs to get my breakfast.

"Morning, mom!" I said cheerily.

"Good morning, Jessica."

I grabbed my coco pops and eating them out of the box.

I packed my bag for the first day of Secondary school, and as I put my lunch in my bag,  I heard the bus beeping.

I hugged my mom goodbye and ran out the door to the bus.

"Hey, Freaky Jess." Someone said, laughing.

It was my cousin.

I went to the middle of the bus, away from all the cool girls and where all the "less cool girls" sat.

I'd lost my place as popular girl a long time ago, after having an awful fight with my cousin,  Kelly.

I sat in the bus and took all the insults they threw at me.

When the bus stopped at  the school I literally ran out of it.

"Loser!" Ciara sneered.

That's when I just snapped. I felt something else taking over me, beyond my control. It was like I was possessed.

"I know all  your secrets Kelly, so if you even dare to embarrass me today, I'll tell everyone you were fighting over a boy with me," I said, walking over to her, my head held high, my body posture full of confidence.

I watched as Kelly's  face became a whirlwind of emotions: shock, anger and rage.

Then she slapped me across the face.

I felt my fist curl and smash into her nose. Then she went flying at least a metre away from me on the ground, and landed with a thud on her butt on the ground.

I backed away, shocked, and stared at my knuckles.

"Bitch," Gina said to me.

"I think you should look the meaning of "bitch" in the dictionary. I'm pretty sure it says a bitch is a female dog," I said.

I didn't know what was happening to me. The words were just coming out of my mouth.

I saw a bunch of kids cheering for me, and felt a smirk form on my lips.

I turned around and walked away.

Hips swaying as well.
