It's Saturday, Violet's most dreaded day of the week. Today is when things get really crazy in the Hunter house. Tyler's little gang is coming over and since it's Saturday, they'll be here all day and night. Of course they come over all the time, but on Saturday's they feel like they need special treatment or something. And who's always the one to 'pamper' them? Violet of course. But why would she go through with something like this right? Well Tyler is a bit aggressive and extremely scary to Violet and she's seen him do some very strong action things to people. He's put people in the hospital. He's psychotic in her eyes. He's threatened her and punched her in the arm way too hard enough times for her to get the point. So, at the age of 15, she's basically a slave for 6 idiots she just wants to punch in the face. No matter how hot Tyler's friends are they're still heartless pricks.

It's 8am and there goes Violet's alarm. Her dad works at the local police department and her mother works at the hospital a few miles down the road. They live in a cute little neighborhood in northern California, having moved from Florida due to a new job opportunity for her mother, Catherine, and father, Wren. They've both been out of the house for a couple hours and Tyler should be awake in 2. Sometimes she really hates her brother but other times she thinks that if something ever happened to him, she'd be a wreck.

She gets out of her twin bed and heads over to her walk in closet. She picks out a flowy, peach, lace dress that compliments her body well. It's her favorite. While grabbing her undergarments, she heads to the bathroom. She showers with her favorite body wash, shaves her legs and exits, drying her body. She puts on her clothes and stares at her reflection. She examines her short, brown curls and runs her fingers through them. She sighs and applies her moisturizer to her face. She pops open her contacts case and puts them on. They aren't prescription, they were just colored. She doesn't like her regular looking hazel eyes so she gets contacts. Today they're blue. She has a collection of contacts.

The only people that know about the contacts or even really pay attention are her two close friends, Audrey and Tasie. And at times it seems as if they really didn't care. That's always what floated through Violet's head anyways. She decides on putting on a little make-up even though nobody would notice. She only adds a coat of mascara and lipstick but it's comforting to her.

After the bathroom, she still had about an hour until Tyler woke up. She grabbed her journal and headed out to her backyard. Her backyard was the only place she could get any peace of mind. The way the wind danced across her face and the smell of all the flowers relaxed her. The way it was setup, there was a hammock in between two oak trees and was surrounded by walls of ivy and flowers. She lightly sits upon the hammock and closes her eyes, enjoying the quiet. She opens her eyes and opens her journal.

Dear, Jo

The boys are coming over again today. I really hate when they come. They're all complete jerks. I've got better things to then serve him and his punk ass friends. I really wish I wasn't stuck serving them. If only I could stand up for myself and not get my teeth knocked out. There's gotta be a way out and I just haven't found it yet. There's only one of them though that confuses me. The one called Niall I think. I really don't keep track of names. He's the only one that doesn't order me to do things. He's only asked me to do something 3 times and every time he did, he asked somewhat...politely. He's a strange one. But his accent is kind of interesting. His isn't like the others but I'm too scared to ask where he's from. In all honesty, he's the nicest. Even with as many tattoos and piercings as the others, he seems somewhat nice. I shouldn't get close though. He's still part of the rough crowd and he can still hurt me. But the curiosity is killing me.

"Hey, lazy ass! If you're done soaking up the colors of the wind, get in here! The guys are here and you've got shit to do!" Tyler shouts at Violet from inside the house. She sighs, heavily and drags herself to the house. He was only a year older than her and he treated her like she was a baby.
