Louis, Harry, and Niall stare at Violet in confusion.

"Who's uncle Jack?" Niall asks, eyebrows furrowed. Violet looks hesitant to answer before sighing.

"He's my mom's youngest brother. He's the only relative that lives in this state. It's a long shot, but I think he may be able to help." Violet answers, putting the phone to her ear. One ring. Two rings. Three rings. Four rings. Violet starts to lose hope. She almost hangs up when she hears a gruff voice.

"Hello?" He answers, confusedly, Violet smiling wide.

"Uncle Jack? It's Violet!" She perks, Jacks mind trying to comprehend her words.

"V-Violet? I haven't talked to you in years. How are you? Do your parents know you're talking to me?" Jack scratches the back of his head, wondering why in the world his niece was calling him after almost 3 1/2 years.

Something must've happened.

"Me and Tyler are in a bit of trouble, and we're wondering if you could maybe kinda sorta possibly bail him out of jail." She mumbles the last part, but Jack heard it loud and clear.

"Jail?! He's still a teenager, right?! Why in the hell is he and jail?! And how does Wren not know?" Jack is confused as ever, rolling out of bed.

"I don't know all of the details, but all I know is that he was at a bar. He just got arrested. Mom and dad are out of state, and they don't know. Please, Uncle Jack, I don't want Tyler to get in even more trouble. I just need you to bail him out. Please." Violet pleads, biting her nails, praying her uncle will help. She hears a heavy sigh and some shuffling over the phone.

"I'll be there in an hour." The line goes dead and Violet sighs in relief. Jack gets dressed and grabs his keys, driving to the house he never thought he'd see again.

Back when the Hunter family was making the big decision to move to California, Catherine called her brother, Jack. He was in a bit of a slump back then. Catherine had called to ask about California, but soon became angry at her brother for all the stupid things he had done in life. There was a lot of yelling and Jack had pointed out a very dumb decision that Catherine made that nobody knew. She grew even more angry and vowed to never speak to him again. Violet and Tyler were very confused, considering their Uncle Jack was always awesome. They never saw anything wrong with him, and he always gave them great advice when he would visit on the holidays. Tyler always looked up to Jack. Maybe it was because Tyler was 13 and Jack was 22. The closeness in age was what brought them together.

When the family moved to Cali, Tyler made it his mission to find his uncle again. He never told anyone he was visiting his uncle, not even his friends. He was surprised to see his uncle had a fitness training center in his garage. So, everyday after school Tyler would tell his parents he was at a friends houses but he was really at Jack's, training. Jack said Tyler needed to bulk up, so he did. But about 6 months into training, Catherine found out about the training. She went crazy and put Tyler on lock down, forbidding him from ever seeing Jack again. Violet found out, and was full of questions. That's when Tyler snapped. That's when he changed. Poor Violet never saw it coming. Violet is pulled from her memories by 3 very anxious boys.

"Violet! What did he say?!" They all shout, Violet shaking her head.

"Huh? Oh, he said he'll be here in an hour." Violet fakes a smile and walks into the kitchen. The boys exchange confused looks, Harry walking after Violet. Violet looks out the window, leaning on the sink. She thinks of all the things her and her uncle used to do. She misses her uncle so much. She just wishes that whatever happened between him and her mother can be put at bay. But her mother is stubborn. Very stubborn. Her mother is more stubborn than her. And that's saying a lot.
