"So my memories in that body..."

"They were all fake. I mean, we had to make you believe that you were a werewolf." The female shrugged.

"Then... You said you served us because of your mistake. What happened?"

The author seemed to hesitate for a moment before sighing.

"Your mother... She's not a demon." The girl sipped on her cup of coffee.

"She was a noble vampire. Your mother met your father when she was separated from her group when moving to a different city to seek refuge. She fell in love with your father, and vise versa. But the relationship was secret because the two sides were having a war. It was a forbidden love." The author looked up at the demon.

"They were meeting secretly right at this house every night. The border between the two territories. Your mother's parents were suspicious of her as she left the house every day at such a late timing, so they got one of their guards to follow her."

(Y/N) gulped, knowing that this wasn't going to go well.

"That was when they found out about the relationship. And soon the information was spreaded throughout both sides which fueled the war." The ravenette shook her head.

"It was bad. Somehow the two managed to mate and had you. But your mother wasn't strong enough to carry you in her because in power ranking wise, the demons have always been stronger than vampires." The girl sighed.

"You were eating up her life force at a rapid pace." She played with her fingers. "She was dying."

The female seemed to stop which made the new Demon King frown. "And then?" He urged for her to continue.

"I came down to the world to meet your parents face-to-face because I have not heard of a case like this before. And when I met them, I found them in a small cabin in the woods. They ran away from their families."

(Y/N) chewed on his bottom lip nervously.

"I... I made a deal with your mother. Your father was out hunting so I went into the cabin to make the deal. She was such a sweet woman, she loved you so much that in exchange for your birth and happiness, she gave away her immortality. That was when the deal was signed and I started serving your family."

The author took another sip of her coffee.

"She never told your father. She just continued to live with him happily. You were introduced to the world and when the war was over, they faced their parents together which somehow went better than expected, even creating an alliance together to face the hunters which were growing in numbers."

"Though, your father had started noticing that your mother was aging so much faster than him. And that was when he found out about the deal."

The girl glared at the floor.

"That was when another war suddenly broke out. And when your father went out to save you, your mother passed on." She smiled sadly.

"If you want. I can let you meet her."

The (E/C) eyes of the male widened as he stared at the female in shock.

"Let me meet her!" He growled.

The author nodded as she stood up and rubbed her hands together. She blew gently into her palms before touching the floor.

A strong wave of power flowed through the demon as the entire room became white and empty.

The short female seemed to have disappeared from his side which made him panic.

"(Y/N)?" The familiar warm and gentle voice echoed throughout the room as a figure seemed to be walking towards him from a distance.

"You've grown so well." The heavenly voice entered his ears again, making him whimper.

The figure revealed itself. A lady in her late thirties with his (H/C) hair and red eyes of a vampire.

She was his mother.

A huge lump formed in his throat as his heart dropped.

He missed her so much.

He ran to her as his arms wrapped around her petite body.

He let out a small choke before tears started streaming rapidly down his face.

His mother's eyes softened as she gently cupped his cheeks and wiped away his tears with her thumbs. "Don't cry." She cooed. But that only made more tears fall.

"I have always wanted to see you grow. But I guess I couldn't do it." She smiled. "Look at you. You're so handsome." She combed his messy (H/C) hair backwards.

"(Y/N), stop crying, it hurts me to see you like this." But he couldn't help it. Her motherly voice only slowed his tears.

"I have something to tell you." She wiped the last few drops of tears. "You have a sister. The youngest in the family. She married the Vampire King. Her name is Cordelia."

"You need to stop the second awakening. If not, she'll be as powerful as you. For the time you have been resting, she has been growing stronger."

The young demon chewed on his bottom lip. "I met her when I was in the other body. She used me." He growled.

His mother smiled gently at him. "You can do it. Make me proud alright?"

That was when the male realised that she was slowly fading away.

"Wait mum! Don't go! Please!" His embrace tightened.

"I've always wanted to say this to you before I died." She whispered. "I love you. I always will."

And the petite lady faded away.

The Demon King fell to his knees as his pale hands went straight to cover his face.

"I'm sorry (Y/N)." The voice of the author appeared.

"Bring me there." He growled as his hands fell to his sides.

The corners of the ravenette's lips twitched up a little. "Where?"

"Bring me to Japan."
