The Awakening

Chapter 6

The demon grinned as he could feel his demon rumbling in excitement. His suffocating aura came out in wavelengths as every supernatural in the building seemed to collapse from the extreme pressure.

His presence was very obvious to any creature in the country now. There was no way to defeat him. Especially with that girl-

-"That girl is actually right here."

(Y/N) turned around on the office chair that he hijacked from the Vampire King who was now passed out on his lap.

"Welcome back. How's the mission status?" The (H/C)-haired male smiled.

"It was fine. I managed to scout out the place where they kept Cordelia's body." She sighed as she smoothed out the creases on her shirt. "I'll show you a rough scan of the area."

She tapped the table twice as a small little ball of light projected a hologram of what seemed to be a school.

"This is Ryoutei Academy now. Her body is hidden in the garden." The ravenette pointed in the open area in the middle of the school where all the classroom blocks surrounded.

The hologram zoomed in on the area before a water fountain took form in the middle of the large space. Bushes of various coloured roses were used to divide the area into seven different plots of land. In each of those small plots were seven different types of trees.

"From what I've known, each of the Sakamaki brothers would have to be standing in a certain area in each of the lands for the awakening." The female sighed. "The body should be under the fountain then."

The Demon King nodded as he looked through the data presented right in front of him.

"It'll be easy. We just need to dig the body out-"

"-It won't. There are students which work under her, guarding the body in different shifts yet it looks so normal because their schedule gives them the time to do so. The brothers... It'll be a little difficult to keep them away seeming as they are still studying there. Plus, they have shifted to the day class."

(Y/N) was about to speak again but the door was knocked on, making the female sweep up the ball of light from the table and disappear into thin air.

"Karlheinz, do you sense the overwhelming energy-" Reiji had cut himself off when he saw the demon sitting in the chair. "Ah, I see..." He pushed up his spectacles.

"Congratulations on getting your throne back. (Y/N) (L/N)." The vampire bowed.

"Welcome home, Reiji." Said male smiled calmly.

"I'm glad we could be of... Service to you." The dark-haired male glared at his unconscious father on the (H/C)-haired male's lap.

"Ah, of course. I just needed the blood to replenish my energy." The Demon King stood up and gently placed the unconscious body onto his chair.

"Even until now. You're still studying?" The tall male asked as he cocked a brow.

"Actually, we are observing how the humans have been evolving." The genius Sakamaki pushed up his glasses before reaching into his blazer where he slipped out the device that Panda kept carrying around. What was it called again? Oh yes, a mobile phone.

"Is that the reason why you have transferred to the day classes?" (Y/N) glanced towards the female who watched the vampire curiously. The Sakamaki family was never one to obey their fate, which of course the creator of the world had taken quite an interest into their case too.

"Yes." The vampire wiped his palms on his uniform pants.

"Where are your brothers right now?" The girl asked. 

"They are currently at-" 

"-School? I doubt so Reiji, it's a weekend." Panda smirked as she caught the vampire off guard. He was a terrible liar.

"They have club activities." The leech gulped as he watched the Demon stand up.

"The entire world of supernaturals should be able to feel my presence, it's the reason why you were drawn here. Are your brothers avoiding me?" (Y/N)'s eyes glowed dangerously as a smirk crawled upon his face. A dark aura surrounding his being as the weather seemed to change to suit with his menacing presence. Thunder struck as the clouds darkened, making the immortal creature actually fear for his life as the Demon King advanced towards him. 

"You have no idea what kind of fucked up story I had to listen to when I woke up. And what kind of shitty life I had. The betrayal and the lies. I'm getting ticked off bit by bit." (Y/N) growled, showing off his sharp canines. His wings flapped impatiently and it seemed as if another being was crawling out from within him. 

"Calm down." The female stepped forward as she placed a hand on his shoulder, shooting a wave of warmth that had a soothing and calming sensation through his being. 

The demon sighed as he shut his eyes tightly. "I apologise for my behaviour. But I need you to tell me where your brothers are Reiji, you guys are in danger." He rubbed his temples, making his female assistant look at him in pity.

"Look here Reiji Sakamaki." The girl spoke up, catching the vampire's attention. "You and your brothers are the key to The Awakening of your mother. (Y/N) is just trying to prevent all of this, his demon his rumbling within him and it's going to continue feeding off his rage. So I suggest you to stop keeping secrets." 

Reiji sighed as he took off his glasses and rubbed his scarlet eyes. It was until now that the Demon King, in his angered state had not noticed, the dark eye circles and bags under the once shining ruby orbs of the vampire. His skin had turned pale that it was slightly translucent.

(Y/N)'s eyes widened as he watched the first few tears roll down the pale cheeks of the genius vampire and fall to the floor. 

"They're gone."

I'm back guys. I'm sorry if I haven't been updating, I've been busy lately. But I do hope you will forgive me for the SUPER LATE UPDATE. Plus the chapter is short. I truly apologise for making all of you wait.
