"People don't take trips, trips take people." - John Steinbeck

Sam and I eventually decided to watch The Notebook and it wasn't the best idea, because now Sam is crying her eyes out. She is a mess and I don't have any freaking idea what to do other than passing her tissues to wipe her tears that haven't stopped since the movie ended. I don't know why she is crying like this, it's not like she has broke up with Wren.
I am not good with relationship stuff anyways, Its Naina in our group who is genius in these situations. Where is she anyways? I called her before the movie started.
Just then the door to the room opens and our glorious friend Naina bursts into the room, wearing a perfect outfit like always. Naina is almost my height has a supermodel figure, long black hair which is now tied neatly in a ponytail and has the darkest and mysterious black eyes you have ever seen.
'Hey bitches, I am back' she almost shouts.
'Where the heck were you?' I literally shout.
'Can you two please stop shouting' Sam says.
Naina and I exchange glances and she understands this is a serious matter we are handling.
'I was shopping, there were some great deals' Naina explains with dramatic hand gestures and in between lots of squeals. She tells us about all the deals and what she got but everything she was saying was already absorbed in the background...
I should've known. If you ever find Naina missing, find a shopping centre with great deals and ta da you will find her there walking around with many many shopping bags. Naina is ironically really energetic while shopping other than that she is the laziest human being. She says it's like a therapy. I don't know if I agree. I like shopping but it's too exhausting work.
Naina comes and settles with us on the bed and I ask 'where are your shopping bags anyways?'
'In the car. Duh!' She says.
Oh yes! Another thing that I should've known!
Yes! You should've, but you are not smart enough.
Anyways. Naina's parents are really rich, they own a business of many things and also they have family money. So, my point is when she turned 18 she got a new car Audi A4 as her birthday gift but she never got the chance to use it. Now that she's back in India she is putting it in a good use.
We sat there for silence.
And silence.....
And more silence.......
Until, Naina said these four words 'My parents said YES'
'What?' Both me and Sam say together not paying attention to her.
She repeats 'My parents said yes for the trip. The trip we planned for us, remember?'
Then I realize. Oh that trip. Now I don't have to talk to Naina's parents atleast.
Sam smiles and says 'That's good! But I wanted to talk to you guys about something'
Naina looks at her and then at me and we both instantly know where she's heading to.
'NO NO NO' I say. Naina also shakes her head in disapproval.
'You are going to come with us on this trip no matter what, I've been planning this trip for so long and I am not going to take no as an answer' I say hurriedly pointing fingers at her and moving my head dramatically.
'But M my parents will only give NO as answer no matter what and I have only made them more worried about me since I've arrived home.' Sam mutters with her head down.
