Linstead Happened

First, but never the last

It was a cold Chicago night, Erin and Jay were the only people in the Med Car Park.
The car windows began to freeze up, Erin sits shivering, blowing into her hands to warm herself up whilst Jay slouches over with his hands clenching closed within his jacket pockets.
"Jay, it's so cold. Does the heating work?" Erin asks
Jay leans over Erins lap and twists the heating switch right onto full then sitting back into the slouching position.
"Jay what's wrong?" Erin questions

There's a few seconds of silence that lingers around the car.

"Today has annoyed me alot... Why does everyone think something has happened with me and you?" Jay told

"Everyone has asked me the same question, more Voight than others- like he's actually bothered" Erin replied.
"Let's do something about this" Jay insisted
"What?" Erin asked, turning to face Jay

Erins POV

Jay is that close to my face, I can smell his aftershave- One Million. Something is going to happen now.

Jay leans in towards Erin, his lips touches hers. She begins to blush, not knowing if she's falling for Jay or if the heater is on too high. The kiss lasted for a minute or so.

A loud thud on the car bonnet, it was Antonio Dawson- "Let's go!"
Erin pulls away quickly from Jay and smirked.

Jays POV

SHIT! Did Dawson just see that. I really hope not.

"Okay, now we can say something happened" Erin said laughing
Jay looked towards Erin and smiled.

He began the engine and followed Dawson and Atwaters car, Jay could see Dawson looking back at him in the central mirror of the car- grinning.

"Oi love birds, take the next right down to the back alley, it's the house on the left" Voight commanded

"Okay sarge" Both Erin and Jay replied at the same time

"Your not arguing back about something that 'not happened'... Something did happen then?"
Voight questioned

Jay and Erin pull up besides the back of the house.
He places his hand on Erins arm before she gets out the car
"First, but never the last" Jay said
Erin nods "Yeah, definitely"

"Come on you two!" Voight shouts
They both get out and sprint...
