I have been to 5 different schools all in the same city. I don't know how I have friends honestly. The fact I only spent kindergarten and first grade at one school, second- sixth grade in another school, seventh in another one, then eight at a different school not even in my district area. After that I went the high school I've always wanted to go to. I tried out for the cheer team there and made varsity my freshman year. I made it again my sophomore year but half way through I got told I was moving to Indiana, for good.

At school Keisha would always show me Instagram pictures of some guy. She obsessed. Like usual. I didn't use social media much, I'm usually busy with homework and extra cric. classes. The first day of sophomore year was crazy! I didn't know sophomores didn't have to come if they didn't want to. I called Keisha like crazy and she didn't answer. At the end of the day I went home to my dad on the phone with my Grandmother.

-Dad Blue: 'Yes mom I know it's far but it isn't that far away!'

-Grandma Blue: 'Now you listen here sonny, you have grown up here all your life and I think it's better you stay here.'

-Dad: 'Mom, we'll do just fine. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for me!'

-Gran: 'I know. I just want you guys to be safe.'

-Dad: 'I know mom. We will. I promise. I love you'

-Gran: 'Love you too'

I walked into the into the living room after they got off the phone.

-Dad: 'Oh hey sweetie! How was your first day?'

-Me: 'Good. Did you know sophomores don't have to go on the first day?'

-Dad: 'Hmm. Didn't know that.' He looked really confused.

-Me: 'So what's far away?'

-Dad: 'Here, take a seat.' He said as he lead me to the couch. 'I got a job offering in Indiana. I took it.'

-Me: 'Well, that's good. When do we have to be there? Will I be able to finish my school year and finish out comp. cheer?' I asked with concern.

-Dad: 'Yea it's great actually. The thing is, we have to be there in less than two months. I'm sure they will have your competition cheer there.'

-Me: 'The team will be different! What if they don't!!' I didn't realize I was yelling. 'I won't fit in!'

-Dad: 'I'm going to give you time to calm down. You'll understand when the time comes closer.' He got up and kissed me on the forehead, I pushed him away in anger refusing the offering.

I haven't felt like this in how many decades? Oh wait. I'm only 16. I couldn't believe this was happening.
