The Boy Next door

Chapter 30

We've all been in the hospital all night. Keisha, Carter, Matt, Hayes, Nash, Cam, the Jack's, Aaron, Taylor & me. I've been sitting on the floor since. I haven't moved. Taylor tried picking me up, but I just screamed at him. A nurse came up to and and offered a hand, I took it since it was a nurse.

"Ms. Blue, Shelby is going to be alright. She just had a panic attack. I asked her what cause it and she said that she woke up in Mr. Grier's room surrounded by 2 people and she got scared. Everything's okay I promise you all. The thing is, only one person can see her until she is released tomorrow." The nurse said as all the boys gathered around, and Taylor held my waist.

"Who is it? Please is it me I have to see her." Hayes said.

"No, I'm sorry, only Ms. Blue is allowed. Her father made a family list for the people that can see her with hi permission, since he's still in the hospital. If up would like to see her now I can walk you down." I shook my head yes and followed here. Taylor had a tight grip on my waist, but I squeezed out. Once we got to the room, Shelby was happy, awake, watching a softball game, like always.

"Hey sweetie." I said walking in.

"Kennedy!! Wait, we're is everyone?" She said losing her smile.

"Your dad made a list on who could see you. Your mom, me, dad, and your little friend Hannah." I said sitting next to her.

"My dad can't do that. Let the boys in. I want to see Hayes." she said.

"Shell, you're only 12 years old, you can't make your own decisions, you're just a minor. I'll talk to your dad okay? But you'll be released tomorrow, it's not that long hun." I said holding her hand.

"Okay, go talk to dad. Now." She said with a cheesy smile. I just laughed.

I got up and went to find her dad's room. Once I found it, the boys were in there watching a Red socks vs. the Cubs. They were all cheering and yelling and jumping. Shelb's dad was sitting on the bed laughing at the boys. I walked in and shut off the tv.

"AWW TITS!!" Matt yelled.

"God Kennedy you suck!!" Taylor yelled.

"If you wanna talk to me like that, you can walk your happy ass home." I responded.

"Ohh Zayumn Ken." Cam laughed.

"Ohh kill em!" Carter yelled.

"Guys, let me talk to her dad for a few." I said and they all walked out.

"What's up kiddo?" He asked.

"Shelby wants to see all of the boys, but I told her you made a list with only a few people on it. She didn't seem too happy when I said that. Can we please bring the boys back to her room for a while? We can bring them back in small groups. Anything." I asked.

"Ken, I don't know, I mean, she had a panic attack because see got scared and overwhelmed. I don't want anything to happen to her."

"Okay, I understand. When do you get out?" I asked.

"In about a week and a half. Can you take Shelb back to the house to get clothes and stuff?"

"Already did that. She was getting pissy about being in the hospital clothes they had her in haha." I said and he laughed with me.

"Okay, I'll see you guys in a week! Miss you all, even Taylor. Tell him to get me some baseball stuff he owes me from winning the game now." They made a bet?

"You guys made a bet?" I asked laughing.

"Yea, Taylor thinks he's a hard ass and knows everything. Red Socks won, so I get my prize. See you guys later." He said with a smile.

"Bye see you soon." And I walked out and sat on Taylor's lap.

"So..... Who won the game?" He asked.

"You're so self conceded." I said rolling my eyes.

"Well I'm sorry, I don't wanna spend money!!" He said

"Hey, you lost, Red socks are better dude."

"AHH TITS!!" Matt yelled again.

"You made a bet too?!" I laughed.

"Well duh dumb ass, we all did. Me and Tay for the Cubs, and everyone else for the Red cocks." He said pouting.

"POUND IT BRO!!" Taylor said. I snaked their hands away.

*NEXT DAY*

Shelby gets to come home!! Me, Carter, Matt, Taylor, and Hayes went to pick her up then go to chipotle. Once we got the the hospital I went straight to her room. She wasn't in there, so I assumed she was in her dad's room. I went to her dad's room and she was there watching baseball, but arguing about watching softball.

"HEY GUYS!! Shelby we can watch softball when we get home!" I yelled.

"Kennedy! I want food! Bye dad, love you. I'll see you when you get out!" She said wheeling herself out.

"By Mr. Lee" I said waving.

"Bye kiddos!" He yelled.

I checked Shelby out and the boys were waiting downstairs for us. Hayes ran up to her first and kissed her. Aww. He did miss her.

"Hey, where's my kiss? Rude!" I said messing around.

"Touch him, I'll cut you." Shelby said trying to scare me.

"Ohh I'm so scared ahh Taylor help ahh." I said waving my hands in the air. "OWW YOU WHORE!!" I yelled after Shelby ran over my toe.

"Aww, who's scared now?" She said rolling to the car. We had Taylor's rover, his "babe". Everyone says I'm the "side bae" because he loves his car that much.

We got in the car and got everyone Chipotle, then went back to Nash's. Once we got there, everyone grabbed their food and went back to watching tv. I took Shelby to the shower so she could wash off. I let her do it herself since she isn't that bad anymore. She yelled when she was done and Hayes ran upstairs.

"HAYES SHE'S NAKED!!!" Nash yelled.

"It's not like I've haven't seem her naked before!!" He yelled back.

"OH MY GOD IM GOING TO KILL BOTH OF YOU!!" I said jumping up and running for Hayes.

"I was kidding oh my lord we wouldn't do that until were at least 18. We made a promise." Hayes said laughing.

"You better have, or I will cut you." I said walking away. I went and helped Shelby get in her pj's. It was 8 pm now, and Shelby and Hayes went to bed. Me and Taylor went downstairs and went to bed too. Tomorrow should be fun. Magcon should be fun. It has to be.
