I hit the off button on my alarm clock and stood up as I sighed and started to get ready. I put on my gray shirt that had " Make Love " printed on it. My black jeans with my black and white vans. I grabbed my gray beanie as i headed down stairs.
I looked at the time. 7:20. Shit i missed the bus. I groaned as i grabbed my school bag and ran past my mom to the door. " By MOM. " She smiled as she waved at me as i closed the door and started to ran. I stopped when i heard a beep.
I looked to the road and saw Brad in his car. He smiled and waved. " Need a ride, Sophia?" I smiled as I got in his car. " Thank you so much Brad. I thought i was going to be late." He smiled as he started to drive down the road.
" Hey don't worry about it. A friend of Alex is a friend of mine." I looked over to him as he parked in an empty space. He brushed his blonde hair to the side as he jumped out. I opened the door and got out. Brad came to my side.
" Want to walk and talk?" He said as I smiled and nodded. We entered the school. " So you are good friends with Brenda and Alex." I nodded. " Yep. Since i came here a month ago they have been there for me." He looked down at me and smiled.
" Yea. I have always been jealous of Alex through." I looked confused at him. " Why. Aren't you like the most popular guy in school." He and nodded. " Yea i guess but he always had Brenda there for him. They make the cutest couple in the school. I just....." He sighed. "... i just wished i had something like that."
" Well you just need to find the right girl." I said as i felt my phone buzz. I pulled it out of my pocket and checked it. It was a message from Brenda.
"Where are you. You said that you will meet me at our lockers yesterday." Shit i forgot. I sighed as i texted her back. " Im on my way." I looked up at Brad. " I have to go. Bye." He nodded and waved. " Bye." I started to ran down the hall passing everyone.
i finally made it to my locker and saw Brenda with Alex. I ran over to them as i catched my breath ." Sorry im late." i said and looked up. Brenda smiled. " Don't worry about it. Anyway I have the cutest dresses for me and you to the dance in 2 days."
I looked at her confuse. " Um what dance.." Alex looked over to me shocked. So did Brenda. " The sweet heart dance. Its on VALENTINE'S day." Alex explain. I nodded. " Um but i don't have a date?" Brenda looked at me. " You will soon."
I looked again confuse and puzzled. But i just shrugged it off. Knowing Brenda she will never till me. " Okay well the what are the dresses." Brenda pulled out her phone as she showed me the picture of a beautiful blue and pick dress. It went all the way to the floor.
" You can have the pink and I'll have the blue." She said. Alex tried to looked at the picture but Brenda didn't let him. She turned off her phone and turned to him. " What do you think you are doing?" She asked. He give her a puppy look.
" I just wanted to see the dress you were going to wear'" Brenda smiled. " No you are not suppose to see the dress until you pick me up for the dance." Alex groaned as Brenda smiled. She turned to her locker and got out her books and closed it.
" Well see you later babe." She waved goodbye at me and turned to Alex. She leaned in as she kissed him quick on the lips and went to class. I turned back to my locker and got out my books. Alex turned to me and walked over.
" Hey Sophia can i ask you a question?" I closed my locker and looked at him. He pulled out a little bracelet " Do you think Brenda will want this?" He asked. I grabbed the brackelet. It was a charm bracelet. With different kinds of chains on it.
I smiled and looked up to him. " She will love it! What do the charms stand for?" I asked as i looked at each one. " Um they stand for the special memories me and Brenda had. Like this one." He pointed to the little picnic charm.
".. It stands for our first date and this one." He pionted to the heart. " Is for our first kiss." I give him back the charm bracelet. " You are so sweet Alex. She will love it. Trust me." He smiled as he waved goodbye.
" Okay bye. I have to do something that Brenda asked me to do." I nodded as he ran in the other direction. I smiled and started to walk to my class. Brenda is so lucky.
Alex's POV.
I ran all over the halls looking for Brad. I stopped when i saw him at his locker. I ran over to him and stopped at his locker. He closed his locker and turned to me. " Oh hey Alex what's up??" He asked. We started to walk down the hall.
" Hey you know that the Sweet Heart Dance is in 2 days." He nodded. " Who are you planning on going with or asking??." He looked at me as he slightly blushed. "Um i was planning on asking Sophia..." I smiled.
" Yea you should ask her. She is a really nice girl." He sighed. " But i don't know how." I looked at him. Brad was never like this. He always knew how to impress girls. He never had trouble with this kind of stuff and now he does?
" Brad, just be yourself." He sighed. " Okay. But if i need help. I will be looking for you." He looked up and smiled. I returned the smile. "Okay. Me and Brenda will be there for you." He smiled before walking into his class. I waved goodbye as i started to walk to my class. I hope he tells Sophia soon.
