My whole world just stopped.
"Wait, WHAT!" I say.
"I love you." Kaleb said. I was still dumbfounded
"Really? Cause that's exactly what you said to Sarah. You know like my best friend the person who tells me everything!"
I am so mad I can't even think straight.
"Wait Hazel!"
"For what Kaleb! You to say your sorry and me to forgive you. I don't think so." I manage to speak while the tears start to flow from my eyes.
"Hazel...." he says.
"What!" I find my self screaming.
"I do love you!"
"You told that to Sarah when she broke up with you."
"But.... Your different"
"I'm just glad I broke up with you before you got into my pants! Unlike Sarah." I can't believe I just said that. I just stand there for a few seconds before I run out of his house.
"Hey Hazel is everything ok?" His mom asks as I run out of the house. As I take the keys out of my pocket and open the Honda's car door. I'm so upset I just sit there for a few minutes as the rain pounds on my windshield. The next thing I know Kaleb is outside in the rain banning on my door.
"Please Hazel! Just talk to me" I manage to unlock the door with out even thinking. He opens the passenger door.
"What the hell's wrong with you...Dating my best friend!"
"I don't know what got into me."
"Yes you do!" I scream.
"You're right I do" He yells back. "Your best friend is the one who will let me get into her pants." I slap him. Hard. My hand burns from the impact. The next thing I know I feel a burn on my cheek. He slapped me.
"GET OUT NOW!" I scream.
"Hazel..... I didn't mean to." He says in a whisper.
"NOW! GET OUT NOW!" by the time I get the words out of my mouth I'm crying so hard I'm choking
