The day of which the Kumo shinobi came for a treaty was a normal day. Or as normal as possible with Naruto and his best friends screaming in the house because - "Suke! You broke my shuriken!"
Of course, Naruto is only half pretending because they all know that he is actually very grown up.
Ya, not really.
With Kakashi behind him, the Yondaime waits in front of the gates, waiting for the Kumo shinobi to arrive.
The eight men team arrived with a rustle from the leaves above, and then leaping down, far enough to be careful and close enough not to appear rude. The apparent leader inclined his head respectfully to the Hokage. "Hokage-sama. We come by Raikage-sama's order." Naruto peaks his head curiously from behind his dad, hopefully searching for that familiar signature of Bee.
There's a tightly controlled, diplomatic smile on the Hokage's face. "Of course." He said pleasantly, "but please understand we need to confiscate any objects which may endanger the civilians of this village."
There's a faint expression of displeasure, until the mission leader smiles back tensely. "I understand."
Upon finding the chakra he is looking for, he purposely grinned and hid back behind his father's robes, and soon disappeared in to the crowds of the villagers. He needs to report to his boss.
----
He grins when he receives the clone's information. He couldn't wait to see Bee in person.
----
The night is silent, scarily silent, until a figure carrying a bundle appears in the forest surrounding the Hyuga's clan house.
He swore quietly when his foot stepped on a broken branch, and leaves rustled above his head. He froze, turning his head left and right to assess a threat. Finding non, he shook his head, and proceeded carefully. The hyuga heir is fragile after all.
With a silent drop, a short figure with a cloak appeared behind him, and before he could react, a pinch on a pressure point immobilized him.
It quickly extracted the bundle from his arms, and stared at him with cold hard eyes. "Never." A deep voice swore. "You will not touch Konoha shinobi like this. Ever again."
---
The next morning found Bee and Naruto chatting happily in the Ichiraku ramen stand like old friends. In away, they are, but Bee doesn't know that. He just knows he trusts this midget exceptionally. And plus, Gyuki agrees.
That's how Kushina found them. The street vendor all took a look at the Uzumaki heiress, and back away slowly, away from the flying red hair and the doom that is to befall her child. "Yaa, Naruto! " she screamed, and the blond child jumped in his seat.
He spun around slowly, and smiled sheepishly at her while scratching his head. "Hi, kaachan."
"Yo, baka yoro, kono yaro. My name is Kirabi, nice to meet you." With his unusual introduction, he bowed slightly, causing Kushina's frown to disappear.
"Just so that you know, Kumo and Konoha are in a very tense situation right now." She told her son flatly.
"I know, dattebayo!" He replied cheerfully, still slurping down his ramen.
A tick mark appeared above her head, and her blood red hair started to slip in to nine tendrils. "Naruto..." She growled.
He finally spun around and scratched his head sheepishly. "But B ojisan is very nice...." He pouted, the blue eyes sparkling with barely shed tears.
Kushina faltered just slightly, and the red hair lied back smoothly against her back, accompanied with a sigh. "Just... Don't eat way too much..." She mumbled, and then sent a glare towards Gyuki's jinchuuriki. "I swear, if you are any kind of like the Head Nin in any way, i will find you and dismember you, piece by piece."
Bee laughed weakly. "Ah, no worries, baka yoro, kono yoro! I've got her covered!" He replied cheerfully.
Kushina humphed, but suddenly unsealed her camera, and with a flash, Naruto and Bee and the ramen stand was immortalized inside a polaroid. She grinned, flashed a leave sign, and shunshined away before they could pick their jaw off the ground.
"Your mother is quite fun, baka yoro!" Bee yelled.
He nodded in agreement. "Kaasan is the best!" He said proudly.

The T&I compartment is silent, almost eerily so. One would expect it to be bustling with activity, but they would find that even the Anbu headquarters is louder than this.
Today, it is mostly due to the Kumo nin, bounded and sealed to a chair in the middle of an empty room, the Hokage and other important personnels inspecting him from outside the wall.
They can't do anything without the Raikage here - no physical harm, so all psychological were disigned to have the maximum success.
It was a tiring task. Not often would Yamanaka Inoichi be forced to only use his clan's techniques, and not ofter another village that was in the middle of a treaty to attempt to kidnap a heiress of a prominent clan.
It was unheard of.
The Fourth leans against the wall lazily, having known everyone in the room to drop a bit of his composure. "Well, now that we know the motive, what do you think we should do?" He asked Inoichi while rubbing his eyes. There are dark bags under his eye that were not present when Kumo came.
"Demand compensation. Contact the Raikage. It is his shinobi that we have detained after all." The Yamanaka clan head replied stiffly, having been interrogating their prisoner before the break of dawn.
"I doubt that the Raikage doesn't know already, Inoichi."
"Send a formal letter. Tell Hiashi himself to write it." Fugaku suggested. "If it was my clan member that the kidnapping was attempted on, they would not be alive right now."
"And that brings another problem." Kakashi said, flipping through the pile of paper that Minato has thrusted into his hand hours before. "The Kumo shinobi had said it was not Hiashi who subdued him." That peaked everyone interest. "He described the figure as cloaked, and very short. Almost like a child."
There's an almost undetectable narrowing of Minato's eyes, the wheels spinning faster than a million mile an hour in the genius's brain. "...We will deal with that later." He decided. "Call Hiashi and inform him to write a compensation demand for the Raikage. Retrieve the other seven shinobis. The village will be on lock down."
The Konoha shinobis saluted sharply, and left in a flurry of leaves.

"Ya, Bee ojisan, i think my dad is calling for you!" Naruto shouted, waving at an Anbu in the distance.
Behind the sunglasses, the eyebrows rose. "Yo, our team leader, baka yoro." He huffed in frustration.
He offered his arms to the Anbu that now stand before him. "See you later, Naruto-kun!" He waved cheerfully, before the Anbu took him away with a shunshin.
Naruto waved back, before crossing his arms and pouted, kicking dirt up in the process. "Stupid dad..." He muttered.
"Hmm? Are you talking about me?" A disturbingly sweet voice called behind him. Naruto froze with a foot up in the air, and a red blush started forming from below his collarbone.
"Ahaha...." He rubbed the back of his head awkwardly. "No...?"
By now, most of the citizens have turned around to watch their esteemed Hokage scold his son. The white cloak fluttered in the wind, and a sickenly sweet smile is present on his face. "I think we need to talk, Naruto." He sighed, and grabbed him by the scruff.
"H-hey! I can walk myself!" Naruto protested as he was manhandled, and the two disappeared in a flash.
They reappeared inside the personal study, and with a hand seal, the room glowed blue for a second before it disappeared. Minato crossed his arms, and stared down at his son. "Okay, spill." He ordered.
Naruto widened his eyes to an impossible extent, and the watery blue blinked up innocently. "Huh? I didn't do anything!" The Angel Eyes no jutsu is back in full force, and no one has been able to defy it for a long, long time.
Minato stared at the puppy dog eyes, before shaking himself off the effect. "It's worse than the sunset..." He muttered to himself. His eyes hardened in determination, and he poked Naruto in the nose. "That doesn't work on me." He scolded. "I know that you save Hinata-chan last night."
The big ocean blue eyes blinked up at him, before conceding defeat. "Ya...it's not like I can leave my wife behind..."
Minato eyes widened. That sounded...extremely weird coming from a child's mouth. "Hinata-chan was your wife?!" He wasn't the most amazed that he has managed to score a Hyuga. He was more impressed with the fact that stuck-up tight Hiashi has allowed his daughter to marry an outsider.
He nodded proudly. "Hina was awesome!" He pronouced with a thumbs up.
He shook his head in defeat. The number One unpredictable Shinobi alright. "We are demanding compensation like last time." He informed his son. "Mikoto-chan and an adult will accompany you for the unforeseeable future because of the lockdown."
"The Village is in lockdown?" Naruto asked curiously, completely ignoring what his touchan said about the guards. That means he has more time to play with Sasuke!
Even with a mind of a seasoned Hokage, he still has a heart of a child's.
Minato nodded in confirmation.
"Does that mean Ero-sennin won't be leaving any time soon?" He nodded again.
Naruto gave a whoop of excitement. "Great!"
-----
The night found Naruto and Sasuke in the Uchiha compound because Minato had classified office work to do. The two children has a facade of sleeping, when in reality, they are conversing in Naruto's mind.
With Danzou gone half a year ago, things has gotten more simpler. With the Hyuga incident out of the way, the only problem remaining is the Massacre.
They have both agreed that the Massacre is less likely to happen, even if Obito finds another Uchiha to do the deed for them. Danzou will also no longer be a factor.
But this also poses many uncertainties. With all the changes already done, the future will be vastly different from their previous.
And for this, they have less and less reasons to be confident in their information.
But for now, the two childrens curled up against each other, and tries to sleep.
----
There's a familiar, giggling man out side the onsen. The white mane hid the face away from any on lookers, and there's a little notebook in his hand. Naruto paused behind him, and smirked devilishly. "Fun, Ero-sennin?" He said cheekily.
"Hmmmm." The man hummed in contention. "Yeah... See that lady? She has such a beautiful figure...those hips and the long cascading hair..." He quickly spun around, and gawked at the boys in front of him.
Sasuke smirked, and opened his mouth in preparation for a shout. Jiraiya's eye widened, and his hand isn't fast enough to stop the child from screaming his lungs out. "PERVERT!!!!!!"
The onsen, now filled with screaming ladies, emptyed, and Naruto and Sasuke had the sense to run away before the girls trample them.
The pained screams of the Toad Sennin could be heard for miles outside Konoha.
---
An hour later, the two boys could be seen, sitting perfectly innocent in the Hokage Tower, where Minato has just finished a council meeting.
With the return of the future Hokage, the council structure has also changed by much. Minato took heed of his son's advice, and looked into the Civilian council's activities.
With the civilians demoted, Minato had enough sense to know that he still need civilians to run the business sector of the village. New civilians were elected, but unlike previously, all of them were entirely loyal to the Hokage.
Jiraiya leans against the wall with a permanent pout on his face, facing the disgruntled Hokage.
The older blond runs an ink stained hand through his already messy hair, and sighed. "Any changes?" He asked tiredly.
Jiraiya shook his head, and layed out a scroll in front of him. "I'm not able to find any traces of Nagato nor Tobi."
"Tobi is in Kiri."
Jiraiya raised an eyebrow. "The Bloodline Purge was his doing?"
Sasuke rolled his eyes, and grumbled something along the line of "stupid old man can't remember the memories."
Jiraiya raised a fist threateningly, and waved it in front of the toddler's face. "Ya, brat, say it again, I dare you." He growled.
Sasuke smirked. "Stupid old man. Stupid, idiot, perverted old man." He stated matter of factly.
"Now, now, children, let's not fight." Minato patted their heads with a soft smile on his face. They glared back at him. "But Jiraiya-sensei, I do seem to remember you have a...meeting with Tsunade in -" he looks up at the sun, "right now."
Jiraiya sees himself out with a badly hidden grumble and shunshin leaves that very coincidentally flew into their faces. Sasuke snorted, and picked it off with contempt. "Now who's the child."

So life fucked me over a billion times and left me with a contempt for dramatics and my own Naruto writings. So if this doesn't make sense, it's because it was written over a span of ten months and maybe a few more, with many fandom changes along the way.
At least i have another chapter.
